Saving Water, continued After approval by LMVA delegates and Board of Directors, management is working with Santa Margarita Water District and various engineering firms to develop and build the Advanced Purified Water (APW) plant that will supply lake-fill needs without using potable water. This ground breaking water conservation project will take approximately one year to complete. The LMVA Board of Directors and staff are working hard to develop water conservation solutions that provide a sustainable source of water for LMVA while reducing dependency on potable water sources.
