Lister returns after a season where she averaged MARCH 11.8 points and 2.6 rebounds per game and started all 32 games. Holzer only started two 3-6 Summit League Tournament games last season but averaged 11.1 points and 6.0 rebounds per game coming off the Sioux Falls, S.D. bench. Another sophomore guard, Christina Foggie, put up 9.9 points per game in 2010-11. The school began use ‘Coach of the Year’ of the Marine Corps’ official nickname, “The Fighting Leathernecks,” in 1927 when then-athletic director and head baseball, basketball - 2009 Finalist for ‘National Coach of the Year’ and football coach Ray “Rock” Hanson was granted permission by the U.S. Navy, based on his status as a Marine hero, to use the Marine’s official seal, bulldog mascot and nickname. - Quincy won two GLVC regular season titles and saw three players named as First Team All-GLVC selections under Gravina. - He also coached Ali Schwagmeyer to GLVC ‘Player of the Year’ honors during the 2010-11 season and had three players named to the 2011 Daktronics All-Midwest Region team. - During his final season with the Hawks, Gravina’s team averaged 87.3 points per game, the second- best mark in the nation.
