Species list—Mt Renshaw Camp August 2–16, 2015 compiled by Judith Holm, Teresa Gagné and others Our Renshaw campsite was in the open parkland of the Engelmann Spruce– Subalpine Fir Biogeoclimatic Zone. Records include our approach from the montane to explorations of the Alpine Tundra Zone above camp. “The ESSF zone is typically cold and snowy 5–7 months of the year, the growing season short.” Heath & meadow communities have enough continuous seepage from snowmelt that the ground stays moist. We agree! Names follow the BC Con- servation Data Centre standard. Synonyms and additional information avail- able by contracting [email protected] BIRDS Groups and sequence follow Sibley’s Tringa melanoleuca, GREATER Field Guide. YELLOWLEGS ?
