Objective: To create a personal coat of arms using proper heraldic symbols to tell your story.

Step one: Explore the symbols and colors of .

Step two: Decide on your symbols and colors.

Step three: Design your coat of arms.

Step four: Create your coat of arms using poster board.

Step five: Display your coat of arms in class. Be prepared to explain your symbols and colors.

Guidelines:

1. The coat of arms must have at least three divided sections. 2. The coat of arms must be multi-colored. 3. The coat of arms must have at least seven symbols. 4. The coat of arms must be at least 18 inches wide and 22 inches long. 5. The coat of arms is due on October 28. You will have class time to work on this project on October 19 and October 26.
