INTRODUCTION Th<ring our Con:eronce at Oslo, in June last year, our General Assemoly adopted the report I subm)tted and laid do~m the work which \·ras to be done in a number of axpl:\ cj_t ar..d amb:i tious resolutions. I reJ-11 ze that in subc.itting to you this further re:~ort a year later, I have no concluG:>ve results to offer you. Much rema5ns to be done; many difficulties '-"ema:1.n to be overcome. Nevertheless, I believe it is t;ruo to say the t, in ':1Ccordance w:~ th the pr:1 no :i plos 1-re ado:pted, we have been able to come nearer to 1ur :ideal 1·rithout losing touch with realities. I should l:i.l~e to th8.nk all those of my colleagues who, by their tireless and :merget::.c work in their own countr::..es, have been able to secure concrete <ii'IJlication of the :princlples adopted by the Union. I believe, too, that they :vill a(;ree w:~ th me jn expressing aprreciation of the 'l:Tay in which their own work has bee::1 hel:ped by the existence and strength of the Union. At the same time, in the same frank and friendly spj_ri t, I rm:tst express my ~·egret that some of our member organizations have not found the time or have felt • t unnacesca::.."'Y to :furnish the:ir collaboration.     Para los efectos señalados en el artículo 47 del Código Contencioso Administrativo, se informa que: Contra los actos de inscripción en el registro mercantil que aparecen relacionados en el presente boletín proceden los recursos de reposición y de apelación. Contra el acto que niega la apelación procede el recurso de queja. El recurso de reposición deberá interponerse ante la misma Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá, para que ella confirme, aclare o revoque el respectivo acto de inscripción. El recurso de apelación deberá interponerse ante la misma Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá, para que la Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio confirme, aclare o revoque el acto de inscripción expedido por la primera entidad. El recurso de queja deberá interponerse ante la Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, para que ella determine si es procedente o no el recurso de apelación que haya sido negado por la Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá. Jacek Dutkiewicz spent part of his professional life as professor, researcher and administrator in the academia at various universities in Europe, Africa and in the U.S. In the past he performed as a professional musician. Currently he holds a leadership position in the R&D organization of Georgia- Pacific (Koch Industries). He is President of the Polish-American Society of Memphis and Member of the Polish Embassy Advisory Council. Halina Dutkiewicz received her M.S. in chemistry from the Pedagogical University of Cracow, Proland. She also studied and acquired expertise in textile engineering, cosmetology, fitness, nutrition and agriculture. She has been a scientist, university professor and businesswoman in Poland, Zaire (today Congo in Africa) and in the U.S. Halina Dutkiewicz is a founder and director of the School of Polish Language and Culture in Memphis. Edward Kozlowski received his M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from University of Zielona Góra in Poland. In 1980's Edward was an activist of Solidarity Movement, for which, he was imprisoned during the Martial Law. He emigrated to US in 1983. He served as Elected Board Member of Polish American-Society, and remains its active member. He is a Senior Designer at Buchart Horn, Inc. Mark Scarbecz received his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Arizona.
