Plan De Acción Insular Para La Sostenibilidad Energética
ACTION PLAN FOR SUSTAINABLE ENERGY ISLAND GRAN CANARIA ISLAND (2012-2020) April 2012 ACTION PLAN FOR SUSTAINABLE ENERGY ISLAND Gran Canaria Island Executive summary European islands with fragile ecosystems and weak local economies suffer an extra pressure of island ecosystems, transportation systems, energy systems and water needs due to the activities related to tourism. The island authorities have realized the need for joining the common efforts in the global strategy of fighting against climate change and European initiatives to reduce CO2 emissions. Under the European directive to achieve the objective of 20-20-20 in 2020, the "Isle PACT: Pact of Islands project" is an initiative of a consortium of European islands that have committed to reduce CO2 emissions in order to meet EU objectives. The Canary archipelago has a high economic vulnerability due to the almost exclusive dependence on fossil primary energy sources and its high exposure to volatility of oil market. Facing this reality, over the past two decades the Regional Government has developed the regional energy plans in order to define the actions that aim at sustainable development of the sector and ensure future energy supply. Canary Islands have some unique peculiarities, reflected in various documents of agreement, both the state wide and European of Outermost Region. The singularities in the energy sector are also recognized. The remoteness of the continent and the fragmentation of the territory configurate the independent island power systems with small and weak grids that suppose an important technical restriction to maximization of Renewable Energy sources (RES) penetration, by its variable and intermittent nature. -
Kohdeopas Agaete, Gran Canaria
Kohdeopas Agaete, Gran Canaria Agaete, Gran Canaria Aloitamme matkat Agaeteen syksyllä, lue lisää maahantulorajoituksista ja lomakohteen ohjeistuksista. Meren ja upeiden mäntymetsien välissä sijaitsevassa Agaetessa riittää luonnonystävälle ihasteltavaa. Korkeat kalliot, vihreät laaksot, vilkas satama ja valkoisiksi kalkitut, sinisellä somistetut talot loihtivat lomatunnelmaa viehättävään tapaan. Agaeten satama-alueelta Puerto de las Nievesistä käsin kalastetaan edelleen kuten ammoisista ajoista asti, joten sen kuulut, vieri vieressä olevat ravintolat tarjoilevat taatusti tuoreet merenherkut erinomaista kalaruokaa arvostaville. Agaeten kylän keskustassa on tarpeelliset palvelut kapeiden katujen varrella. Liikenne soljuu rauhallisesti kylän läpi, ja edempänä siintävä vihreä laakso laittaa henkäisemään kauneudellaan. Siellä kypsyvät viinit, appelsiinit ja kahvi. Kylää ympäröivät vehreät laaksot ja kumpuilevat vuoret tarjoavat liikunnallisille -

Those that took place between 2009 and 2017 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, their quantitative dimension and their intra-urban distribution are analysed in this study. This perspective allows an appreciation of their relationship with the unequal distribution of income and alien status, factors leading the investigations on the loss of property. In order to achieve this objective, the records of the Common Service of Notifications and Seizures have been used together with data of the Inland Revenue Ministry and Municipal Register, combining statistical and cartographical analysis with the purpose of finding associations Received: 07.06.2020 Accepted: 23.08.2020 Published: 19.11.2020 Published under the terms and conditions of an Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International license. and predictive factors. The study reveals that there is a great concentration of real estate deprivation in the central areas of the city and that the standards of distribution of dispossession are inversely related to the level of income of the urban districts and directly related to the foreign population. -

On this, the second ‘Go Slow’ tour, we were able to enjoy some of the best of the island’s rugged volcanic scenery, appreciating the contrasts between the different habitats such as the bird- and flower-rich Laurel forest and the dramatic ravines, and the bare rain-starved slopes of the south. The sunset from the edge of the Big Caldera in the central mountains, the wonderful boat trip, with our close encounters with Atlantic Spotted Dolphins and Cory’s Shearwater, the Gran Canarian Blue Chaffinch and the vagrant Abyssinian Roller, the echoes of past cultures in the caves of Guayadeque, and the beauty of the Botanic Garden with its Giant Lizards were just some of the many highlights. There was also time to relax and enjoy the pools in our delightful hotel overlooking the sea. Good weather with plenty of sunshine, comfortable accommodation, delicious food and great company all made for an excellent week. -

Table 2.a.llists all the attributes and components of the cultural landscape of Risco Caldo and its buffer zone (p. 34). However, only part of the sites are described in the nomination dossier (p.
