Here, we’ve prepared this PRE-ARRIVAL GUIDE for you, to show you how to get to our university Zhejiang International Studies University (ZISU) after you arrive in China by airplane, and to help you make better preparations for your brand-new life in China. And the Orientation Checklist attached will give you a picture of what the orientation look. Please pay attention to that. At the same time, in order to better our service, we need you to complete the Information Collection Form we sent to your email address online before Feb . 15th, 2019. We thank you in advance. The spring semester of will start on February 24th, 2019. On February 24th, we will provide free pick-up service at Xiaoshan International Airport. If you would like us to pick you up, please inform us before Feb. 15th. 2. Please make sure to enter China with X visa. It’s not promised that any kind of visa can be transferred into a X visa after your arrival in China, if so the responsibility will be taken by the student. Those who could not come due to special circumstances and have to cancel their study plans in ZISU must inform us via email. The university has the right to report it to the immigration authority and students are responsible to bear the consequences themselves. 3. Please register at university immediately after entering China. Registration time: February 24th, 2019 , 8:15 am -11:45, 1:30-8:00 p.m. Location: Zhejiang International Studies University Wangyuan D-221, College of International Education Registration documents: passport, admission letter, JW202 form and 1 passport sized photograph. 4. Please pay the registration fees, tuition fee, accommodation fee, insurance fee and so on according to the ZISU bank account. The deadline of the payment will be on March 8th , 2019. The fees will not refunded if students are dropped out due to personal reasons and students need to assist university and relevant to cancel their residence permits. The fees need to be paid include: REGISTRATION FEE 500 RMB for each new student TUITION 7,000 RMB/ semester – Chinese language program students ; 9,000 RMB/

    PR098/15 27 November 2015 Extension of Hangzhou Metro Line 1 Commences Service A 5.7-kilometre 3-station extension of Hangzhou Metro Line 1 commenced passenger service on 24 November 2015. Hangzhou Metro Line 1, a joint venture between MTR Corporation and Hangzhou Metro Group, has a route length of 54 kilometres with 34 stations after the opening of new extension. “Hangzhou is a key commercial hub in the rapidly developing Yangtze River Delta, “said Mr Lincoln Leong, Chief Executive Officer of MTR Corporation, “The new extension marks another step forward in the Corporation’s business in Hangzhou and we will continue to work closely with Hangzhou Metro Group, the Hangzhou Municipal Government and the Hangzhou community to provide efficient, reliable and world class metro service to the people of the city.” “To ensure smooth delivery of the new extension, a three-month trial run was carried out from July to October, “said Mr Jacob Kam, Operations Director of MTR Corporation, “The result was good with approval from the regulatory departments.” Building on the success of railway operations in Beijing and Shenzhen, Hangzhou Metro Line 1 is MTR Corporation’s third metro investment project in the Mainland. It is a Public-Private Partnership project with a total capital cost of about RMB¥ 22 billion and the railway is operated by a joint venture company named Hangzhou MTR Corporation Limited (Hangzhou MTR). MTR Corporation has a 49% stake in Hangzhou MTR with the balance owned by Hangzhou Metro Group Company Limited. Hangzhou MTR will operate the line for 25 years.

    PR052/17 26 June 2017 Concession Agreement for Hangzhou Metro Line 5 Signed The MTR Corporation today (26 June 2017) signed a Concession Agreement with the Hangzhou Municipal Government and Hangzhou Metro Group for the Hangzhou Metro Line 5 Public Private Partnership (PPP) project. Attending the signing ceremony held in Hangzhou were Mr Xu Li-yi, Mayor of Hangzhou, officials of the Hangzhou Municipal Government, representatives of Hangzhou Metro Group, Professor Frederick Ma, Chairman of MTR Corporation, Mr Lincoln Leong, Chief Executive Officer of MTR Corporation and Dr Jacob Kam, Managing Director - Operations & Mainland Business of MTR Corporation. The MTR delegation met with Hangzhou Party Secretary Mr Zhao Yi-de after the signing ceremony. The construction portion of the project is divided into Part A and Part B. Part A relates to the line’s civil construction and Part B covers electrical and mechanical systems. The Part A portion will be invested and constructed by Hangzhou Metro Group. MTR will be working together with Hangzhou Metro Group to form a joint venture company (JV Company) to take part in the investment and construction for Part B as well as the operations and maintenance of the Hangzhou Metro Line 5 for 25 years after commencement of passenger service. The JV Company will invest approximately RMB 10.9 billion for the Part B portion of Hangzhou Metro Line 5. This investment will be financed by the JV Company through a combination of borrowings from banks (currently estimated at around 60% of total investments) and equity capital from shareholders (40% of investments). The shareholders of the JV Company will separately enter into agreement in relation to other detailed issues.
