Intended Audience This document is intended for anyone responsible for installing and maintaining Oracle CODASYL DBMS. To install Oracle CODASYL DBMS, you must have access to the SYSTEM account or an account with SYSTEM privileges. Operating System Information To run Oracle CODASYL DBMS Version 7.0 software on an OpenVMS VAX system, that system must be running Version 5.5 or higher of the OpenVMS operating system. To run Oracle CODASYL DBMS Version 7.0 software on an OpenVMS Alpha system, that system must be running OpenVMS Alpha Version 6.1.
