This year marks the tenth installment of Mission Creek Festival in Iowa City, and we at the Englert are proud to be the producer of the festival. The lineup often reminds me of the programmatic vision that drives my work at the theater: to present the known and unknown side-by-side, to find a balance between the traditional and the experimental, to be reminded of a familiar feeling and to be rewarded by a new experience.
