PRESENTING AN ALBUM OF THE YEAR'S ACTIVITIES AT NATIONAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION. EVANSTON, ILLINOIS VOL. 27 1942 We present the 1942 National: an appropriately gay and poignant record of events, which were crammed into a year when the word "security" became obsolete and the word "courage" was recoined. As women, we marched not grimly, nor with guns, but steadily, humming a cheerful refrain to keep e times. ADMINISTRATION Edna Dean Baker, President Out of a fabulous stack of names, records, and financial reports, National's administration competently creates an amazing semblance of order to keep the wheels of the college speeding smoothly throughout the year. Daily, the office of administration is confronted with the usual queries regarding matriculation, course of study, and various permissions. In this capacity, the administrators have made National an outstanding school in the educational field and have aided in obtaining for the school the long desired accreditment by the American Associa- tion of Teachers' Colleges. -

NOTE DEL REGISTA Ho sempre saputo sin da quando finimmo “Never Say Never” nel 2011, che la storia di Justin Bieber non sarebbe finita. -

April 11, 2016 Media Contact: Savannah Whaley Pierson Grant Public Relations 954-776-1999 ext. 225 Jan Goodheart, Broward Center 954-765-5814 Celtic Woman Celebrates No. 1 World Music Album, “Destiny” “CELTIC WOMAN: THE DESTINY TOUR” COMES TO THE BROWARD CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS ON APRIL 28 FORT LAUDERDALE – Irish music sensation CELTIC WOMAN celebrates its brand new album, Destiny on its 85-city North American concert tour of the same name that comes to the Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. Destiny dominated the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s World Music Chart for seven weeks after its January release – their ninth record to hit No. 1 in a decade-long career, a true testament to the ensemble’s enduring popularity. Celtic Woman will perform songs from Destiny on its tour that launched from Nashville on March 4 and continues through early July. The performances honor Ireland’s past, while bringing a contemporary musical edge to songs old and new in a way that also reflects the vibrant, modern nation that Ireland has become. The Destiny Tour features an entirely new production showcasing vocalists Mairéad Carlin, Susan McFadden and newest member Éabha McMahon along with Celtic violinist and founding member Máiréad Nesbitt, accompanied by a group of equally talented musicians and dancers. Destiny CD/DVD (Manhattan Records) is Celtic Woman’s tenth CD and first of all-new material since 2011’s Believe. Destiny features a fresh fusion of traditional Irish music and modern songcraft, including the Waterboys classic “The Whole of the Moon,” Ed Sheeran’s “I See Fire,” from The Hobbit film, Mutt Lange’s “Walk Beside Me,” Brendan Graham’s “Sometimes a Prayer Will Do,” and the popular video game theme, "Skyrim." In 2016, as Ireland commemorates the Irish Rebellion of 100 years ago that led to its nation’s independence, Celtic Woman offers a rousing version of “Óró sé do bheatha ‘bhaile,” an anthem closely connected with the 1916 Easter Rising.
