Gameplay Basics

Ages 12+, 2-8 players, 10 minutes Pairs is a “New Classic Pub Game” with a basic Vital Stats triangle deck: 55 cards numbered 1 through 10, with 1x1 2x2, 3x3, and so on up to 10x10. Stock Code: CAG 253 In a basic game of Pairs, players take turns drawing UPC: 8-23464-00253-9 cards and trying not to score a pair. Or, you can fold, and score the lowest card in play. The first player to score too many points loses the game, and there’s only one loser! Hawthorn plays similar to Pairs, but each player has Size: 2.5" x 3.5" x 0.75" tuck box their own hand of cards. Players alternate taking MSRP: $10 cards from their own hands and the deck. It feels a Releasing: October 2018 bit like poker, even though there is no betting.
