We watched ‘A Grand Day Out’ featuring working on the ‘Stick Man’ chapter from Street Child (class novel). The children have been Wallace and Grommet and the children recalled and wrote about the main events of the film. The class have made a book In Porthmeor this week we have carried on with our Legends of Geevor and finished our with information in it that they already knew about horses and information that they found from books, posters, mining diaries in Literacy. We have also practised using connectives and recognising videos and from resources brought in from classmates. In Maths we have been practising different ways of homophones and the correct place to use them. In Numeracy - we have revised 3D shapes adding 2 numbers together – on fingers, largest number on the shoulder and counting on. We have discussed and their properties.
