Tai Chi improves your balance, coordination, joint mobility, circulation, core strength, cardiovascular conditioning and increases the flow of energy throughout your body. Tai Chi is “ in movement” and has an aerobic effect. Classes are designed to improve the condition of Type 2 Diabetes, relieve stress and symptoms.

Tai Chi with Gentle – 6 weeks $54 Tuesdays 4 to 5 p.m. Release stress with the slow movements of Tai Chi combined with breathing techniques and guided meditation. The fusion of Yoga improves flexibility and the use of bands improves muscle strength. Chair support is offered. No mat work. Exercise bands are needed.*

Tai Chi Fitness – 6 weeks $54 Tuesdays 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Thursdays 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Fun class focusing on cardiovascular activity. Total fitness is achieved through seated and standing movements using chair support to improve heart health, endurance, flexibility and stability. The use of exercise bands supports muscle and bone strength. A safe class for beginners, seniors and those recovering from injury. No mat work. Exercise bands are needed.*

*Bring a water bottle and towel to class. No mat needed. Exercise Bands are available for purchase.

Yoga improves joint range of movement, circulation, flexibility, core strength, balance and coordination. Breath work is included. is a gentle exercise practice, using props (chair, wall, strap, blanket, and blocks) to support body alignment and to allow the muscles to relax. Chair Yoga offers exercises for beginners with chair support. * Bring water, towel and an exercise mat to classes

Gentle Yoga - 6 weeks $54 Mondays 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. This class is designed for beginners and those who are recovering from illness or an injury. There is floor work in this class; a chair is available for those who prefer to use the chair.

Prenatal Yoga - 6 weeks $54 Mondays 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. Class offers stretching and breathing exercises to support outer life, mommy and the inner life, baby, in a balanced state.

Chair Yoga – 6 weeks $54 Mondays 4 to 5 p.m., Tuesdays 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Thursdays 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Chair support offered in a series of seated and standing poses to benefit balance and range of motion. The addition of elastic tubing is used for muscular endurance and strength. A fun class for beginners and those recovering from illness or injury. No floor work.

Basic Yoga - 6 weeks $54 Tuesdays 11 to 12 p.m., Thursdays 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Class offers beginning poses, breathing exercises and light meditation. Individuals must be able to get on and off the floor because exercises will take place on a floor mat.

Restorative Yoga - 6 weeks $54 Wednesdays 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Participant must be able to exercise on the floor. You will learn to relax and let go.

Yoga Intermediate – 6 weeks $54 Thursdays 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Learn advanced poses and better balance. Fun, active class includes floor work, strengthens the core and increases range of motion. Patient must be able to exercise on the floor.
