It was part of the month-long celebration of World Architecture Day and one of the Corporate Social Responsibility projects of the chapter sponsored by BOYSEN Paints. The event was made possible with the collaboration of UAP Marvalley Chapter and Rotary Club of San Mateo and in coordination with San Mateo, Montalban, and Marikina City. Also, with-us are the Students and volunteers.

Before the main event, the group meet-up at Tisa and Tasa Kainan. While waiting for the others, we had a breakfast meal serve by the host itself Ar. Pedro Fetalvero who owns the place.

As we arrived at Timberland Adventure and Campsite, the head guide gives us a briefing and lead us to the seedlings and nursery greenhouse. We personally hand-picked our choice of seedlings that we will plant later. Even on a hot weather, we were so excited and looking forward for a fulfilling day. Some of us even brought their own army shovel. As we reached the planting site, everyone looks for their spot, dig a hole and plant a tree. We can’t help ourselves but to pose for a picture because we want to capture the moment how happy we are at that time. We were also amazed by the beautiful scenery on top of the mountain. Perfect for a group picture.

Marvalley Architects, Rotarians, Students and Volunteers joined forces to save the mother earth and offer our fair share in providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wild life.
