Volley Ball Dhaka Sports Complex 8.30 a.m within the premises of GBSSS, Dhaka. 4. Cricket Vikas Puri 8.30 a.m. Delhi University Bharat Nagar 5. Tug of War Chhatrasal Stadium 10.00 a.m. Model Town, Delhi The next round of the above will be played on 21.02.2008. 22.02.2008 Athletics for PETs (all groups) (2) Athletics Chhatrasal Stadium 8.30 a.m. Events are: - 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m, 3000 m and Shot Put in all age groups. Age groups are :- (i) Below 40 years (ii) Above 40 & Below 45 years (iii) Above 45 & Below 50 years (iv) Above 50 & Below 55 years (v) Above 55 years (3) 23.02.2008 Officers (including Heads of schools) & their spouses:- (i) Below 50 years (ii) Above 50 years Sl. Tug of War Chhatrasal Stadium 4.00 p.m. Model Town, Delhi The age group will be applicable in respect of individual event. Prizes will be given to the winners. In case of team games, all SPEs will nominate their respective district team with the consent of Distt. DDE & entries must be sent before 15th February 2008. No entry will be entertained after 15th February 2008. Instructions:- 1. One official can take part maximum in two athletics events and one game out of T.T., Badminton, Wrestling, Volleyball, Cricket & Tug of War. Participation in any game will be at their own risk. 2. In individual disciplines i.e. Athletics, Wrestling , Badminton, Table Tennis, the entries shall be taken on the spot. 3. Best of eight will be decided on the basis of time trial in the heats of athletics events & the final will be held of best 8. 4. There will be no age group in team events and only one team of the District will participate like Volleyball, Tug -of-war and cricket. 5. The cricket match will be played of 20 over each side. 6. Badminton and Table Tennis will be played on single games only. 7. Participants will participate in proper game kit which will be arranged by the players themselves. 8. Participants will have to bring their own playing equipments. The balls and shuttle cocks will be provided by the Department. 9. The fixtures of volleyball, cricket and Tug -of-war can be had from the office on 18.02.2008 10. In case the events of a participant clashes or falls at the same time, then the participant has to choose the event of participation according to his/her own choice/priority. The event will take place strictly as per the schedule. 11. All the teams shall reports half & hour before scheduled time. 12. No TA/DA will be given for participating in these games. 13. If the participant fails to report at the scheduled time and venue, no protest will be entertained under any circumstances. 14. There will be separate competitions for m ale and female officials. 15. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Jury shall be final and binding upon all the participants. 16. Strict discipline shall be maintained by all the participants throughout the tournament. 17. The cut off date for competitors will be 1st January, 2008. (B) To make sure that these activities are organized as per the directions of the Central Board of Secondary Education and in-conformity with its policies. (C) The Headquarters of the Sports Committee shall be the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. (D) The Chairman, CBSE shall be the Chairman of the Sports Committee. AIMS & OBJECTIVES 01.   • Agenda and Background Note
    The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in collaboration with Bharti Infratel has implemented Project FLOW since 2015. FLOW is an acronym which stands for Facilitating Learning on WASH. It aims to translate awareness and knowledge into action by educating school children and youth on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) issues. It also aims to provide access to safe water solutions to targeted schools through installation of WASH infrastructure. Geographically, the project covers 10 schools each in six cities in India namely, Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Ranchi (Jharkhand), Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Jammu, (Jammu and Kashmir), Panipat (Haryana) and Guwahati (Assam). In the period, 2015- 2018, Bharti Infratel and TERI provided WASH education to approximately 500,000 students, teachers and community members through an array of non-formal and informal teaching methods and access to safe water in all the 60 schools. School students who were trained on WASH aspects have undertaken action projects within schools and communities. School teachers joined hands with students and implemented campaigns in their schools and neighboring communities. Workshops and festivals organized under the project enhanced awareness amongst the school community on WASH and active citizenship. Project’s presence on social media helped in spreading the idea to the people beyond the project locations.
