VBPS COMMEMORATES ROALD DAHL Vikas Bharati Public, Reader’s Club observed the birth centenary of Roald Dahl with superfluous enthusiasm. VIKAS BHARATIANS’ RENDEZVOUS WITH TOM ALTER

In a rare opportunity , Vikas Bharati’s Senior Teachers, Onima Mehta and Sandhya Rani experienced a dream come true moment when they were invited for an interactive session with a renowned theatre veteran and polished Anglo- Indian actor Tom Alter on 12 Dec.2016 in an event organized by Ratna Sagar Publisher at The Dome Vivanta Ambassador by Taj. The programme unveiled with a welcome note to Tom Alter followed by Oscar Wilde’s Play Lady Windermera’s Fan staged by the students.

In his keynote address, Tom Alter recited Rudyard Kipling’s ‘If ’ followed by an interactive session with the teachers. According to Onima Mehta, the humility and down-to –earth approach of the actor floored the audience. Right from the struggling days of his parents to establish themselves in India, he shared about his entire journey from becoming an actor to the contemporary status.

The rendezvous was motivational for the teachers who came back in a nostalgic mood with their hearts swelled in appreciation for Tom Alter.
