Having started esout as a staff editor at Coopera London post-production facility, I became freelance in 2001 and have subsequently worked on a wide range of productions. The bulk of my credits are in the field of documentary and factual, although I've also cut dramas, comedy, promos and commercials. My many years of experience has meant I have built a strong reputation for being a safe pair of hands in the edit – taking direction or taking the lead as required. I am good at finding a story in a sea of rushes, and pride myself in having a creative eye, a strong ear for music, and a clear head for structure. I also love cutting the funny stuff. I am skilled in all versions of Avid specialising in offline editing, although I do have previous online and grading experience. I also have my own Final Cut Pro 7 editing kit.
