Jumbo Design with Monogram Notes  While the design is selected > Left click on the Rotate icon 2x’s > de- select. See the Appendix in the Onscreen Manual, for the best results when  Click on the Monogramming Icon > Type in the first, last and middle initial > Click on Style and select Style 4 > Change the Alphabet to stitching Alphabets, do not exceed the maximum or minimum recom- Zurich > Select the radio under the Last name initial and change mended sizes. . the Letter Height to 35mm > OK.  Change the Color of the Monogram to 2 in the Color Palette.  Go to Settings > Thread Colors > Select the Isacord thread chart and Assign color 2241 to color # 1, 2123 to color # 2, and 2022 to color #15 >OK.  Select All (CTRL A) and click on Align Centers to center the monogram to the design. File Save As > Create a New Folder and name it Travel Blossom > Save As: Blossoms with Monogram.

Cutting Instructions Fuse the entire wrong side of the solid natural linen and natural dots with Armo Weft Interfacing following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Cutting Instructions Fabric is cut slightly larger and trimmed to size after embroidery is com- pleted Cut the fabric as follows: STOF Linen ST14-050  Cut one 22ʺ x 26ʺ rectangle for back panel  Cut two 12” x 26” rectangles for front panels  Cut two 2 ½” x 10½” rectangles for handles STOF Linen ST15-200  Cut one 21” x 9” and two 11” x 9”rectangles for bottom bands

Embroidery  Measure down 10” from the top and 13” from the side of the 22”x26” rectangle and mark with a washaway marker.  Place the printed template on this mark to confirm placement.  Cut a piece of OESD Ultra Clean & Tear Stabilizer to fit the hoop and spray with 505. Using the hoop template as an aid center the fabric on the stabilizer and hoop.  Open the Blossoms with Monogram design in the machine > Attach the hoop to the machine and check and adjust for center placement.  Stitch the design.  Measure 10” down from the bottom of Blossoms with Monogram design and mark a horizontal line across the width of the fabric. Use a tie tack fastener to hold the fabric in place until all reference  Open Blossoms Border 01 in the machine. marks have been aligned.  Using the Mega Hoop, hoop the stabilizer and the left side of the fabric using the printed template and the horizontal line to aid in placement.  Stitch the design and the reference marks.  Open Blossoms Border 02 in the machine.  Hoop StabilStick Stabilizer with the backing paper (shiny) side up  Remove the backing paper > Stitch the reference marks on the stabi- lizer > Remove the hoop from the machine.  Insert a thumbtack into the center of each reference mark on the stabi- lizer from the underside of the hoop > place the reference marks on the fabric to match the thumbtack reference marks on the stabilizer > hand press (do not stretch) the fabric into position > Remove the thumbtacks > Return the hoop to the machine and stitch the design.

 Measure approximately 24” from the top of the 12”x26” rectangles and mark a horizontal line on each piece > mark a line ½” seam allowance on the center edge.  Use the paper template to aid in placement of the border design  Stitch Blossoms Border 01 on the left side and Blossoms Border 02 on the right side.

 Print several templates of the Buds design > around closely and “sprinkle” the buds around > pin and place.  Hoop StabilStick stabilizer in the Medium hoop and place the fabric with template on the stabilizer.  Open Buds design in the machine > rotate as needed > stitch.  Repeat until all buds are embroidered.  Remove all excess stabilizer. ©2013 BERNINA of America, Inc. Construction Create the Ruffled Ribbon  Attach Ruffler # 86 and set the adjusting lever to 6 > guide the ribbon so the straight stitch falls in the center of the ribbon

Trim pieces as follows  Trim one 21ʺ x 25ʺ back panel rectangle  Trim two 11” x 25” front panel rectangles

 All seam allowances ½”  Stitch the bottom bands to the front and back panels  Select a decorative stitch and stitch the Ruffled ribbon on the seam created between the top panels and bottom bands.

 Insert the zipper to front panels using Zipper foot # 4 / 4D  Use the hanger outline provided to create a template for cutting the top curves > print at 100% and either cut or use to create a full template of stabilizer > Cut the panels  Fold ¼” at the top center and then fold again ¼” Edge stitch in place with Edgestitch foot # 10 / 10C / 10D

 Fold ¼” on each long edge of the two hanger bands and press. Fold in

half lengthwise and press. Edgestitch on both long sides.  Change to Reverse pattern foot # 1 / 1C / 1D  Mark 2” on each side of center of back > pin the handles in place and stitch inside the seam allowance.  Mark 2” on each side of the zipper center > pin the handles in place and stitch inside the seam allowance  Open the zipper half way  Pin Front and Back panels together matching the ruffled ribbon at the side seams > Stitch all around starting at the top zipper edge.  Turn and Press  Edgestitch with Edgestitch foot # 10 / 10C / 10D  Spray with Fabric Shield Fabric Protector as a water repellant and stain guard.

CrystalWorks Instructions  Open CrystalWorks design 21006-31_CR.Draw in the DesignWorks Software.  Select All (CTRL A) > Right click on crystals pattern > Group.  Duplicate > Mirror Y and move into place next to the original.  Align Left.

 Change the hoop to BERNINA Mega Hoop, 400 x 150, #48 > Check center design to hoop.

 Go to File > Export > Crystals to Machine.  Print Templates.  Send the Crystals Pattern to the USB device.

 Insert USB device into machine > Open crystals pattern  Attach the Straight Stitch plate and the appropriate punch and con- tainer.  Punch the template following the onscreen prompts until the template is complete.

 Remove the hoop from the machine  Peel of the template and adhere to the backing board  Brush crystals over the template beginning with the largest size  Remove the backing film from the Transfer Tape and position the tape over the crystals.  Press onto the Transfer tape using a firm pressure or a roll a brayer over the tape. Lift gently making sure all crystals have transferred fro the template material to the Tape.  Place the Transfer Tape into position on the Garment bag  Use a pressing cloth and adhere the crystal to the fabric with a hot iron.
