If 2960, would you like us to include the stacking cables? a. The 3850 is used as the CORE switch and the 2960 are used for distribution. Yes, we prefer stacking cables. 2. For the POE switches, I didn’t see a mention of SFP modules …do you want us to include those in our quote? a. Yes, please include the SFP modules. 3. Category 2 services …do you want our bid to include professional services for configuration/implementation? a. Yes. 4. Also, Sentinel’s managed/monitoring services, is this something you would like us to include in our response? a. Yes, in terms of erate eligible maintenance for the Noble Network networking equipment. 5. Is it the intent of Noble Network to apply for (submit) a Build Entity Applicant Reimbursement (BEAR) form? a. Yes, we typically pay our erate invoice at 100% and request a refund. 6. In a nutshell, then, it is generally acceptable for POs and orders to be placed prior to April 1, but if shipments arrive at the customer’s location (or if other billable work is done on the customer premise) before April 1, that work (or equipment) will not qualify for reimbursement due to being delivered prior to the start of the funding year.” (FFL) a.
