Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. and DISH Network Sign Multi-Network Carriage Agreement

Deal Includes CNN, CNN Headline News, Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies, Turner South, Boomerang, CNNfn and CNN en Espanol

ATLANTA & ENGLEWOOD, Colo., May 1, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.) and EchoStar Communications Corporation's DISH Network have signed an affiliation agreement that allows for the continued distribution of core TBS, Inc. networks. They include CNN, CNN Headline News, Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies (TCM), Turner South, Boomerang, CNNfn and CNN en Espanol. Michael Schwimmer, senior vice president of programming and marketing of EchoStar, and Andrew T. Heller, president domestic distribution, TBS, Inc., announced the agreement today. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
