CAPITAL BREAKFAST NUMBER 1 IN LONDON - 95.8 Capital FM’s Breakfast Show, hosted by Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon, is still London’s favourite commercial breakfast show, winning on both reach and share. - With an audience of 1.16 million a week, an increase of 13 000 year on year, the new Capital breakfast show continues to beat Chris Moyles in London. CAPITAL AROUND THE UK - Capital Scotland celebrates its highest ever reach, adding 35,000 new listeners per week. - Capital Manchester beats Key 103 with 66,000 more listeners in the last quarter, now reaching 519,000. - Capital Birmingham adds 39,000 new listeners and enjoys its highest ever market share at 9%. HEART 106.2 CELEBRATES NO.1 MARKET SHARE IN LONDON - Heart 106.2 records a share of 5.3%, beating all commercial rivals. - Listener loyalty is on the up - listeners now tune in for nearly 11 million hours a week - an increase of 1.4 million from last quarter! - Heart 106.2‘s reach remains strong in the London TSA with the station recording more listeners than Radio 1. HEART AROUND THE UK - Heart Kent records a quarterly increase of 15,000 listeners and its highest listening hours in 8 years. - Heart Solent adds 19,000 new listeners in the last quarter, with a total of 341,000 listeners each week. - Heart South West (comprising Heart Cornwall and Heart Devon) celebrates 13,000 new listeners compared to the last survey, a total of 371,000 listeners each week. CLASSIC FM CELEBRATES ITS 20TH BIRTHDAY WITH AUDIENCE INCREASE - Celebrating its 20th birthday this year, Classic FM enjoys more listeners than last quarter - nearly 5.5 million adults per week.
