Class Changes Effective January 1, 2020 We are making revisions with the assumption that we will be limited to having 100 people in the building at Entering a Mixture of Regular and Preferred Classes Within the Same Trial Weekend – Multiple Jump any time. Of course, all of our plans hinge on the hope that the indoor arena at Douglas County Heights Within the Same Trial Day Fairgrounds will be open. If it isn’t open, we will again need to cancel at the last minute. I would like to start Effective January 1, 2020, exhibitors may enter a mixture of both Regular and Preferred classes on the same trial day and/or during a trial weekend. Any mixture of Regular and Preferred classes is allowed. Please note that if a dog out by saying that neither I or Palmer Divide Agility Club or Douglas County Fairgrounds can guarantee your qualifies in Regular Master Standard and Preferred Master JWW (or vice versa) on the same trial day, then NO Double Q safety and good health. But we are making lots of adjustments to try to make it as safe as possible. I shall be earned toward either the MACH or PACH title. The Double Q still requires that Standard Agility and Jumpers realize that some of these adjustments will be too much for some people, and not enough for others. My With Weaves be either both Regular OR both Preferred on the same trial day. Additionally, within the same Regular or Preferred classes, a dog may now be entered in multiple jump heights within the AWARDS same trial day. For example, the same dog may now be entered in 20-inch Master STD/JWW while also entered in 24C- inch Premier STD/JWW on the same trial day. Placement Ribbons will be awarded for the first through fourth place in each height division of each class for Standard A separate entry form must be submitted when the same dog is being entered in a mixture of Regular and Preferred Agility Classes, Jumpers with Weaves. and/or different jump heights within the same trial weekend thereby clearly indicating which class(es) and/or jump heights belong together for each trial day of the weekend. First Place Blue Ribbon Fix and Go On (FNG) Second Place Red Ribbon As of January 1, 2020, Fix and Go On will be offered on a one-year pilot basis in order to give AKC time to evaluate its Third Place Yellow Ribbon impact. FNG allows exhibitors to immediately reattempt an obstacle at any time while on course when the dog’s Fourth Place White Ribbon performance of an obstacle is not to their expectation. This allows the dog to successfully complete the obstacle then finish the course or leave the ring on a positive note. Using FNG will result in a non-qualifying score. A green qualifying ribbon will be given to all qualifying dogs. Fix and Go On is not pre-entered; rather, it occurs during the course of the run. Dogs must receive a qualifying score to receive placement awards. HEIGHT DIVISIONS **Covid 19 restrictions may alter measuring requirements. Watch for updates. SPECIAL AWARDS Effective January 1, 2010, exhibitors are no longer required to provide proof to Trial Secretaries that their dog has a valid jump height card as part of the check-in process.
