Star Wars: the Rebellion Reborn Written by Dylan Meuser 284 Star Wars: The Rebellion Reborn written by Dylan Meuser 284 Zephyr Ave 613-806-3058 [email protected] A Long time Ago in a Galaxy far far away... EXT. PLAINS OF DANTOOINE - DAY A horse like creature is galloping across the rolling hills of Dantooine with a figure riding on top cloaked in the robes of a Jedi. The SHROAT could easily pass for a horse if its eyes weren't where a horses nose would be and a nose where it's eyes would be. The figure gallops through the prairies strong and majestic. They approach a heard of antelope like creatures that run alongside of the mysterious rider. But like all things in nature the heard is being hunted by an alpha. A wolf runs after the herd about to make quick work of one of the slower bucks. A Green light saber ignites as the hood blows back revealing the identity of the rider. Qui-Gon Jinn is riding the beast. With a few quick flashes of the saber the beast is scared and the rider continues to his destination. EXT. OUTSIDE OF CAVES - DAY Qui-Gon de-mounts his Shroat leaving him about his business. He walks to the entrance of a small cave and is met by a Young Kuiil at the start of his long career as a servant. QUI-GON Were you the one who sent the message? YOUNG KUIIL My masters sent the message. I was to meet you here and collect the reward. There is an ancient writing on engraved on the stones of the entrance to the cave. QUI-GON As agreed. Qui-Gon throws a metalic card of republic credits at the young Ugnaught. 2. YOUNG KUIIL While on Dantooine I will serve you for the remainder of your visit. I have spoken. Qui-Gon's hand touches the flat round archway of the ancient ruins opening a doorway to an ancient cave. Almost as if somebody knew he was coming. INT. ANCIENT JEDI CAVE The Jedi wonders through the dark cave. Fog creeps up on the Jedi blocking his path and tying down his legs. Similar to when Luke first confronted Vader in a cave in the Degobah System. The cave leads to a center room with a ancient artifact in the middle of the atrium like opening. As Qui-Gon moves closer to the artifact a cloaked figure appears in the room. All of a sudden audiences begin to realize the burning question left at the end of Episode 3. How does Qui-Gon know how to return from the netherworld of the force? BASTILLA (CATE BLANCHET) Do you seek power? Is that why you've come? QUI-GON The Jedi don't seek power. Power is gift to defend the innocent and to bring balance to the force. BASTILLA You speak as he did once. In this holocrun lies his sacrifice. A Jedi who believed in love and was driven to the darkest of places and turned towards the light when he lost what was closest to him. Me. QUI-GON You were once a Jedi? BASTILLA Once. In this holocrun lies the training needed to endure in the netherworld of the force. The power beyond what most can possibly imagine. Wisdom a Jedi's greatest weapon. (MORE) 3. BASTILLA (CONT'D) Love and sacrifice, the ability to return from the netherworld of the force. It is all but yours Jedi. You have but to defeat your worst enemy. QUI-GON Who is it? BASTILLA The most evil part of us all. Breaths in the deep. The voice of Darth Vader as he emerges from the fog. His red lightsaber drawn. Qui-Gon moves quickly to meet his foe. A slow motion saber fight. Qui-Gon quickly overcomes his foe. With a quick slice to the head Vader falls to the ground. His head rolls in the foggy surface of the cave. BASTILLA (CONT'D) Use it well. Power is always the corrupted. Bastilla's ghost fades away. STAR WARS INTRO CREDITS EPISODE 10: The Rebellion Reborn: The end of years of conflict has begun to spread peace and prosperity throughout the galaxy. The Republic has begun forming new alliances and building a fleet of Starships meant to keep peace and defeat the remnants of the final order. Rey Skywalker has begun to train a new group of Jedi Knights to uphold justice and keep the balance of the force throughout the galaxy. But echoes of old foes still haunt the vulnerable. Attacks continue on systems who’ve joined the republic. No identity of the foe has been revealed. Whatever it is, has halted any progress made towards prosperity in the galaxy. (MORE) 4. EPISODE 10: (CONT'D) A frigate has been dispatched in the Odiawa System to find the source of attacks that have plagued the trade routes between the outer rim and inner republic systems. EXT. ODIAWA SYSTEM - SPACE A republic Frigate drops out of hyper space. It is a large blue star. The Frigate drops out of hyperspace near the orbit of a gas giant. Similar to Saterun the planet has an asteroid belt orbiting her. INT. REPUBLIC FRIGATE BRIDGE - DAY The crew is hard at work at their stations. Professionals ready to jump into combat at any moment. CAPTAIN JOUSTA Status report. HEMLMSMAN There is no sign of any imperial activity captain. EXT. THE DARKNESS OF SPACE Breathing in an out. Reminiscent of Vader but different. Dark, slow and sadistic. The suit supports him in outer space. He can breathe for himself. A black suit is drifting alone in the darkness of space. The camera angle looks like the person bursts into space uncontrolled but soon moves into controls as the suite has minor thrusters to move him closer to the Frigate. EXT. SIDE OF REPUBLIC FRIGATE The suite slowly drifts towards the Frigate. Almost looks like a weird hybrid between Vader and Iron man. Magnetic boots slowly attach to the hall of the Frigate. The suit must be using some sort of stealth technology. A lightsaber attached to the belt of the suite moves from the belt of the mysterious figure into his hands using the force. A lightsaber is thrust into the hull of the frigate. He carves a human size hole into the ship. 5. INT. FRIGATE CORRIDOR - DAY Red lights flash from the hull breach. Alarms go off. Sounds of a breached vacuum sucking out of the ship. All of a sudden the lights in the ship burst. He is using the force to darken interior of the ship and create complete darkness in his infiltration. Republic soldiers evacuate the corridor and shut the doors behind them. One speaks into a communication terminal. REPUBLIC SOLDIER We have a breach. The dark suite plunges into the corridor. Sounds of breathing through the suit. The room is completely depressurized in zero gravity. INT. FRIGATE BAY - DAY A group of republic soldiers forms in front of the door. They anxiously await the mysterious threat on the other side with blasters in hand. The lights in the room mysteriously burst. The room is in complete darkness. The doors sound like they are opening. A quick sound of air being sucked out of the room. But the doors seem to close suddenly. REPUBLIC SOLDIER HELMET CAMERA This soldier starts gasping for air. He sees the soldiers around him gasping for air from the light positioned on his blaster. REPUBLIC SOLDIER Hull depressurized. Ihe soldiers next to him are also having difficulty breathing. One of the soldiers suddenly flies into the air. His fragile body snapping against the rigid hull of the frigate. 6. INT. FRIGATE BAY - DAY The mysterious Sith is among the soldiers slowly choking them out using the force. His red lightsaber ignites. He's not using it. Carrying the blade only to illuminate the suffering of the republic troops as their bodies are tossed around the ship like puppets. INT. FRIGATE BRIDGE - DAY The helmsman and other bridge crew slowly begin to collapse, Their eyes bloodshot. The doors open and the mysterious Sith walks through. CAPTAIN JOUSTA Well then get on with it. The helmet of the Sith begins to decompress. The breathing apparatus disengages. The Sith takes off his helmet revealing his identity. This is DARTH MORTOUITIS. About the same age as Luke Skywalker. Ideally ROBERT DOWNEY JR. DARTH MORTOUITIS No. You're no use to me dead. EXT. KASHYYYK FOREST TRAIL - MORNING Kids laughter in the background. A young girl, maybe 15 years old, sits by a small stream flowing off the branch systems of a gigantic tree system. Strangle, water forms a large droplet in midair. She is using the force to hold the water in midair. She moves towards it about to take a drink. This is Kira, a young apprentice learning the ways of the force. The water bubble bursts into peaces as a young boy runs into it. The is Liam, Rey's first apprentice. LIAM You're never going to finish the hike if stop for water every five seconds. KIRA Watch me. Kira runs to catch up to Liam. Three other kids are following them, two of the younglings are alien species. Diversity matters. 7. EXT. KASHYYK ESCARPMENT - MORNING The children run into a root system that fallows a massive cliff face. It looks like you can see the all of Kashyyyk from this point. Magnificent trees towering higher than skyscrapers. Gorgeous waterfalls. Birds the size of dinosaurs. They've rebounded after the fall of the empire. The younglings run across the roots without fear or hesitation.

The explosions lash out so brutally that the entire star system appears to glows brightly for a short period. This pulsing led astronomers to mistake the system for a variable star for a long time. (A variable star brightens and dims over time.) While we’ve known that neutron stars can pulse for almost fifty years, this is the first time a white dwarf has shown similar behaviour! COOL FACT! Where the original struggled with combat momentum, The Force Unleashed II is smooth and satisfying; where the first game's visuals were Star Wars: II: The Force Unleashed II (Graphic Novel) and jittery, the follow-up's are rich and varied. The gameplay is somewhat hobbled by a lack of enemy variety, among a few other flaws. However, not only is this version longer and more exciting than its high-definition counterparts, it moves along at a better pace and fills in an important story-related crevasse left gaping in the other versions. None of that matters if this is the only iteration of The Force Unleashed II you plan on picking up; what matters is that this is a good and good- looking action game that makes it a pleasure to slash up stormtroopers and fling them off walkways into the abyss beneath. The story is not as impressive as that of the original, but it is notable nonetheless. On the watery planet of Kamino, Darth Vader hovers over a familiar figure. It looks to be Starkiller, the original game's leading man and Vader's unauthorized apprentice. But is it really Starkiller--the one said to have sacrificed himself for the Rebellion? Thus, you step into this man's shoes and begin your search for the truth, not to mention the search for Juno Eclipse, Starkiller's former pilot and lover.
