Colorado Mesa was picked fourth in the poll with 16 points after a fourth place finish in 2012 and had one Preseason All-WILA pick in junior Rachael Sutton, last year’s WILA Defensive Player of the Year. Rounding out the poll is Adams State, fifth with 22 points, and McKendree, sixth with 24 points. Adams State finished fifth in last year’s standings while McKendree is a newcomer to the association and to the sport of women’s lacrosse in 2013. Lindenwood’s selections to the Preseason All-WILA team are Lindsey Palmer, Justiene Groothuis and Christine Hehmeyer at the attack, midfielder and goalie positions, respectively. All three were First Team All-WILA picks in 2012. Regis is represented on the team by Erin Dybus at attack, Danica Cutshall at midfielder and Sierra Perrella and Erin Flynn at defender. Fort Lewis’ representatives are Jessica Norby at forward, Brook Wineland at midfielder, and twin-sisters Ally and Abby Kvidera at midfielder and defender, respectively.
