VNFC/SWNA begins administering flu shots hi mid-October. Vac- cines must be prepared each year as the virus mutates from year to year. Those who were inoculated last year will not be protected from this year's strain.. The VNFC and the Community Baptist Church are working together to bring the inoculation program to all those in the community who may not be able to take time off to visit a doctor's office during the day. The inoculation will cost $10 and neither the Community Baptist Church nor the VNFC will receive any money directly for the vaccination. The VNFC will be responsible for all supplies, physician's orders, follow up needs and liability insurance. The VNFC does not refuse care to anyone in need. The Community Baptist Church and the VNFC invite anyone in the 1995 Somerset community to receive flu protection through the inoculation program. Community Baptist Church is located on the corner of New Brunswick Road and DeMott Lane in Somerset. For further information, call the church at 246-1122. Covered dish luncheon planned The Women's Guild of the Six Mile Run Reformed Church will host a Covered Dish Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, in Fellowship Hall.
