JANUARY, 1935. To send back the Gospel to the Lands that gave it to us. For 80 years this has been our aim in 13 · countries com prising the Lands of the Bible. Over 100 Mission Stations and objects helped last year. BUT New Doon of Opportunity are open. They will shut if the servants of Jesus Christ do not enter. Many Stations are calling. IF Funds fail, faithful native workers must be dismissed, an Evangelist here, or a Bible woman there. Come over and help us. Thanbgiving Extension Fund, Bible Lands Mis sions' Aid Society. ' THE CHURCHMAN ADVERTISER. A Pagan Civilization could easily result in any country where spiritual life is not maintained. That danger exists in Canada. In the southern prairies drought for the sixth year destroyed all promise of crops. Canada has been too hardly hit to support, adequately, the work of the Church and sorely needs the help of us, with our far greater privileges, in the Homeland. "It is much more interesting than most of the works on the Prayer Book, as it dwells more upon the motives and objects of the compilers than upon the material and contents of the Service Books that preceded the Prayer Book. It is written with pellucid clearness, and gives points for discussion which are a great help to an intelligent appreciation of the Prayer Book."-Norwich Diocesan Gazette. THROUGH mE PRAYER BOOK. The work is much hampered by its inadequate income. Please help soon and generously by sending your contribution to CHARLES HOBDAY. Eoq., ~ aiJof_ 70&Chainnan BaalnJhall one! Hon. Street, Sec..
