This is where madeinroath have their HQ. It’s behind the ROADBLOCK. It’s full of sun and street stalls, food and art, alive with people. Why is this place called Roath, or Albany for that matter? Roath, with its claims to pre-Roman origin is the name the city of Cardiff could have had if it had played its cards right. Count them: street food sellers, commissioned creatives, concerts, g39, Albany, SHO, Oriel Makers, Cardiff MADE, Inkspot, performances, platforms, innovations, interventions, Waterloo Gardens and The Gate. When you’ve got that installations, improvisations, broadcasts, publications, much creativity bubbling then you need to celebrate. dances and diving, multi-cultural workshops, films and touring vans, knitting, cooking, brass bands, guitars, digital And madeinroath does just that.
