In addition to her duties as Executive Director, Saenger helps new clients get back on their feet by connecting with Social Security and other forms of assis- tance. As~isting Saenger are an adminis- trative assistant, a warehouse coordinator, a volunteer coordinator and volunteers. The Coalition elected new board of- ficers in December. Serving as president is Jay Slemmer, while Raymond West is first vice-president and Martin Gregory is second vice-president. Linda Lively is trea- surer and Lynn Waldmann secretary. The Coalition hopes to pursue private grants and other sources of funding more aggressively in the coming year. Board president Slemmer is currently coordinat- ing a grant application for Ryan White funds that would enable the group to hire two case managers. Providing help to those in need as quick- ly as possible is one of the group's top priorities. "If somebody has a need, I will do what it takes to get it taken care of," Saenger said. "We're not an organization that tells people, 'I'm sorry, come back next Thursday.'
