Lots of free parking, great view! Happy New Year! Happy New Year to each one of you. Here’s hoping 2013 will be the best year yet. We have been graciously given two all event badges for the Seaside Festival February 22-24. Right now the price per ticket is $85, by February 1st the price jumps to $90 per ticket. Seaside is always a terrific festival; one of the few left here in the Northwest. So bring your checkbook with you this month, we’ll auction these two tickets off then. The proceeds will be going to the Youth Scholarship Fund. A great deal, a fabulous weekend in Seaside and the knowledge that you have also made it possible for another student to attend Jazz Camp this summer. Please send Carol Rippey the amount of your pledge for the Bob Schulz Frisco Jazz Band so they can play for us again in September. We need a total of $2800 to pay for their travel costs. Every little bit helps so send your pledge amount to Carol now and start building your contribution. It isn’t necessary for you to send the money now, just the pledge amount, however we’ll need it in the bank by the end of July. Many thanks to all of you for your support; both by attending our monthly Jazz Sundays and also with your financial help.
