MERITS IN TEACHING AND PEDAGOGICAL COMPETENCE Lähdesmäki has annually taught courses for undergraduate and graduate students since 2001. Her teaching has included: lectures, seminars, practicums, online courses, supervision of reading circles, project studies, traineeships, and student counseling. Since 2009, she has annually taught a graduate course on research methods and practices at JYU. In addition, she has taught courses on art history at the University of Eastern Finland, between 2008 and 2013, and at the Open University of Jyväskylä and Chydenius Institute, Finland, between 2001 and 2008. Lähdesmäki has published material on research methods in Finnish and co-authored a broad online portal on methodology in Finnish and English (www.jyu.fi/mehu).
