Week 13! Dear Parents and Carers, We are just about to enter our final week of term! In some ways the weeks just seem to have flown by but equally our half term break seems like ages ago! This letter will be full of end of term reminders and information! Firstly, I would like to confirm that we will finish for our Christmas break on Friday 18th December. Upper KS2 will finish at 1pm, lower KS2 at 1.10 and KS1/Year R will finish at 1.20pm. (Many of you may have heard rumours on the news of differing end of term dates/INSET days, however in line with all of our local schools, we will be finishing as planned with our INSET day on Monday 4th January.) Please, please remain extra vigilant around our Risk Assessment and staying COVID safe during this last week. We have managed so well to avoid a closure so long may it last! On that note, also just to remind you, if your child does present with any of the three main symptoms, high temperature, cough or a change in taste or smell please keep them at home and let us know straight away—I know that it may be really disappointing for them to miss the coming week’s festivities but we also need to keep as safe as possible for the Christmas period. If anyone in your household receives a positive COVID test result, KEY DATES it is equally really important that you let us know as soon as possible via the letters@ Monday 14th December Year 5 and 6 email address. Christmas happenings this week... I really enjoyed watching the filming of our Yr R Tuesday 15th December last day for Nativity this week—there are some photos later in this newsletter. It was absolutely Christmas card positng in school. beautiful! Well done to everyone involved. Our last day of Christmas card posting is Tuesday 15th Year 3 and 4 Panto and Tuesday 15th December. Thank you to our Amazing FROTH team for arranging a virtual fun run pantomime for our children. The pantomime is Cinderella and it will be shown to year 5 Wednesday 16th December Year R 1 and 6 on Monday, Year 3 and 4 on Tuesday and year R, 1 and 2 on Wednesday. The and 2 Panto and fun run FROTH Santa Fun runs will also be happening on those corresponding days as well Wednesday 16th Christmas lunch and (Weather permitting). Our Christmas lunch and Jumper day is Wednesday 16th jumper day December.
