SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT

Our Advent retreat is Monday, December 12th, 2016 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the church. Father McShane will touch the subject of the First Christmas when Jesus and the Holy Family were turned away at the Inn with the words, “There is no room for you here!” This Advent season we too can allow the Secular World and Christmas preparaons to overshadow that which is the most important thing to prepare—our hearts.

This Advent, let us make room for Christ in our hearts and home that we might joyfully receive the Infant Savior on Christmas Day! Father McShane will lead our Advent retreat with spiritual reflecons as well as praccal ways by which we can prepare ourselves and our families to eagerly receive the Prince of Peace with open hearts renewed!

The retreat will include praccal ways in which to spiritually prepare ourselves for the birth of Jesus. There will be reflecons on the First Christmas and how we can see more deeply the meaning of Christmas spiritually and how it relates to us in the sense how we can take the elements of the First Christmas and apply them to our celebraon today.
