University of Mumbai wins overall Championship

University of Mumbai wins overall Championship at the All India West Zone Cultural Competitions organized by the Association of Indian Universities ,New Delhi by 94 points. We break our own record of 87 points. Veer Narmad South Gujarat University had hosted the 28th West Zone Festival.

University qualifies with 18 events out of 24 events for the Nationals to be hosted by Kalyani University, Kolkata.

1st Prizes : Quiz, Elocution, Classical Dance, Music (Indian, Light & Vocal), On the Spot Painting, Collage, Rangoli, Poster Making, Clay Modeling, Installation, Indian Group Song, One Act Play.

2nd Prizes : Skit, Mime, Folk Orchestra, Folk Dance, Photography, Cartooning.

Section wise Trophies : Literary Arts Section, Dance Section, Fine Arts and Theatre Championships too are with the University. “HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS” TO ALL PARTICIANTS &
