I Am Asking for an European Income for No One's Handicapped People #HANDICAPATindignat #indignantHANDICAPPED #HiMihaiSirbu I am asking for an european income for no one’s handicapped people from the E ast ern side of the Union, 1st part Me, Mihai Sîrbu , from Romania , United States of Europe , 19 February 2018 If there is still an ounce of solidarity between the european countries, then, at least it should make an impact in the pockets of each person with disabilities, from all the member states and from the whole European Union territories , through a minimum European income for handicapped people, around 500 € per month! Without any doubt, eastern Europe, the European states, postcommunist or the New Europe, as it was called by the American Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfled in January 2003, which j oined, in the middle of 2000s, to be more precise, in 2004 and 2007, the European Union, can be unfortunately found in deep and endlees crisis of the democratic values and principles. Homeland statesmen from: Romania, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hun gary, Slovakia, Cyprus, Malta, Slovenia and a small amount or maybe not at all, from the Baltic states, like Lithuania, Estonia, La t v ia , mock the substance of their nation’s institutions, especially those in the judiciary system, shamelessly , almost savag ely and directly making countless amounts of Page 1 of 13 19.02.2018 #HANDICAPATindignat #indignantHANDICAPPED #HiMihaiSirbu populist pro mises in each electoral campaig n , fooling people and gaining their votes with unquestionable easiness, to us, the other ones, who still think for themselve s , being terrified how ancient and important nations of Europe are being entirely subjugated, in the name of some politically corrupted and cursed interests, in a mafia style, known also by the name of white collar parties , as they should be called in the national interests of the previously mentio ned states. Therefore, with tears in my heart, I will address this and the following petitions, only to the members of the European parliament from Old Europe, less the Great Britain , which chose, because of some eccentric populists like Nigel Farage, t o leave the community through Brexit , because there are politically nulities also in the European parliament, sharing here a few names that in their entire career did not accomplish anything about the way the EU and their own national countries should lo ok like: Marine Le Pen, László Tőkés, Geert Wilders, Heinz - Christian Strache, Matteo Salvini, Morten Messerschimidt, Timo Soini, Janusz Korwin Mikke, Bernd Lucke and other political losers of this kind, as you can see in the press article, from France 24 newspaper, which makes a political analysis about the European elections in 2014, that I found it online and which I’ll send it to you in PDF format. Before I start developing the subject of m y cause „Indignant H andicapped” , I’ll ment ion the distinguished European Parliament M embers, counting on the overwhelming majority for the sensibility, the understanding, compassion and not last on the maternal feelings of the MEPs ladies from the western European Union, to whom I address this petition, in the following order: to the President of the European Commission, Jean - Claude Junker, to the President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani, to the Leaders of the main political groups of the European parliament, st arting with Manfred Weber, the Page 2 of 13 19.02.2018 #HANDICAPATindignat #indignantHANDICAPPED #HiMihaiSirbu leader of the European People's Party, Gianni Pittella, Leader of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats Group, Ryszard Legutko , Co - chairman of the European Conservatives and Reformists, Guy Verhofstadt, Leader of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, Gabriele Zimmer, leader of the European United Left – Nordic Green Left, Rebecca Harms and Philippe Lamberts co - chairs of the Greens/EFA group, ladies and gentlemen Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) : Ingeborg Grässle, Roberto Gualtieri, Alain Lamassoure, Pervenche Berès, Andreas Schwab, Elmar Brok, Keller Ska, Bernd Lange, Daniel Caspary, Kathleen Van Brempt, Sophie in ‘t Veld, Angelika Niebler, Evelyne Gebhardt, Chris tofer Fjellner, Marietje Schaake, Julia Reda, Birgit Sippel, Roberta Metsola, Isabella Adinolfi, Clara Garcia, Daniela Aiuto, Marina Albiol, Michèle Alliot, Maria Arena, Margrete Auken, Inés Sender, Tiziana Beghin, Joëlle Bergeron, Malin Björk, Lynn Boylan , Renata Briano, Soledad Ruiz, Pilar del Castillo Vera, Lara Comi, Anna Maria Bildt, Miriam Dalli, Rachida Dati, Angélique Delahaye, Karima Delli, Mady Delvaux, Linnéa Engström, Rosa Estaràs, Ana Gomes, Tania Peñas, Karoline Hainz, Françoise Grossetête, Jy tte Guteland, Heidi Hautala, Anja Hazekamp, Anna Hedh, Esther Garcia, Liisa Jaakonsaari, Anneli Jäätteenmäki, Eva Joly, Agnes Jongerius, Karin Kadenbach, Barbara Kappel, Rina Kari, Rikke Karlsson, Miapetra Kumpula - Natri, Cécile Kyenge, Merja Kyllönen, Esth er de Lange, Angelika Mlinar, Nadine Morano, Caroline Nagtegaal, Kati Piri, Soraya Post, Evelyn Regner, Terry Reintke, Frédérique Ries, Pirkko Ruohonen - Lerner, Tokia Saïfi, Judith Sargentini, Christel Schaldemose, Claudia Page 3 of 13 19.02.2018 #HANDICAPATindignat #indignantHANDICAPPED #HiMihaiSirbu Schmidt, Annie Schreijer - Pierik, Helga ©www.ro.emb - japan.go.jp Stevens, Marita Ulvskog, Bodil Valero, Monika Vana, Henna Virkkunen, Cecilia Wikström, Kristina Winberg, Sylvie Guillaume, Patricia Lalonde, Marisa Matias, Sofia Ribeiro, Lola Sánc hez and for the informal notice of the Japanese Embassy in Romania, (a lthough I have relentlessly searched for a contact e - mail of the Japanese Government and the Japanese Prime minister, Shinzo A b e , the ending results were not promising at all.) The east European states, from Romania, Poland, Hu ngary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia and the rest, with the exception, perhaps of the Baltic states, are taken hostage by a small group of local politicians, who have earned numerous wealth and influence in time, starting from a trivial salary of hi gh level officials, with barely a few thousands €uros per month! Back here in Romania, we have had the cha nc e, power and will to make the switch between the left and right political parties, with the exception of two ex Presidents of the country, Ion Iliescu and Traian Basescu, the only ones ruling for 10 years each . Romania being an Unitary semi - presidential republic, the Prime Minister of the Government is in fact, the main political player of Romania and the only one who might eventually turn the Romanian democracy in an autocracy like Putin did in Russia, which has alrealy succeded partially in Hungary of Viktor Orban, w ho has run the neighbouring country apparantelly from the begining of time, the same story happening in the Bokyo Borisov’s Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic of the president Miloš Zeman, and in Kaczynski’ s Poland and so on, the obvious distincti on occuring in Romania since the 90s has been demostrated by having only two Prime - Ministers, Adrian Năstase and Călin Popescu Tăriceanu, who really ended their four years mandate. Page 4 of 13 19.02.2018 #HANDICAPATindignat #indignantHANDICAPPED #HiMihaiSirbu It`s without doubt that in the eastern European states there is neither a mature p olitical culture for the most simple voters nor are there Statesmen, who will put the national interests in the front row, being therefore forced to live in a painful and endless political, institutional and administrative struggle, since the e nd of the W orld W ar II when the spheres of influence became a reality, in Ialta, in 1945 , and Romanians were left b ehind by the Western powers and abandoned in the criminal hands of Russians for about half a century, time in which our political, cultural, scientific, religious personalities were decimated, killed and humiliated in any possible way, extremly valued and competent like their western counterparts . Now , in the contemporary days , the only way our enlightened leaders from Bru ss els would try to convince their unqualified, corrupt and mobster like counterparts in eastern EU : O f the importance of the Rule of Law, of the Judicial independence and the fight against corruption , is th rough the insignificant and hilarious threat given by the European Comission with the suspension of the Veto in the European Council. Those measures take you to the conclusion that b oth the postcommunist politicians of the east a s well as their weakened nations will leave you with a sense of loss. Oh my gosh, just think about it, the sleepless nights Liv iu Dragnea, Viktor Orban, Boyko Borisov, Andrzej Duda, Miloš Zeman and all the others greedy careerists of the social - economical transition towards the liberal capitalism that has evolved since 1989 for the high oficials in eastern Europe`s politicians wi ll have to go through ! ©Wikipedia Page 5 of 13 19.02.2018 #HANDICAPATindignat #indignantHANDICAPPED #HiMihaiSirbu Esteemed Members of the European Parliament, picture a different working scenario which could be applied to the east European states and even more. I`m certain this politics would also be succesful amongst the far - right sympathizers of the populist parties from the West of the continent, like the European Income for the Handicapped. If this income would make its mark in the EU, then , the mere threat of the European Comission President, n ot with the ceased payments towards the handicappe d people from all around Europe, but with its suspension, would make ten thousands of people take out the streets against the national governments , as they are no longer willing to fully respect all the eur opean norms and treaties. Regardless of how many fake news the Russian propaganda or other foreign power s might spread, much interested in putting us face each other, this could not jeopardize the peace, harmony and alliance of the EU states. The European Union is an unique, wonderful political creation, a true model in the entire world, where, in many regions like the Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and South - East Asia , the local news start by sharing informati on from the E.U., which day by day is becoming the first emigration and also professional option, especially in the technology and science field s.

  • Kiezer Ziet Rol Voor Eu Bij Grote, Urgente Vraagstukken

  • Personalization of Political Newspaper Coverage: a Longitudinal Study in the Dutch Context Since 1950
Personalization of political newspaper coverage: a longitudinal study in the Dutch context since 1950 Ellis Aizenberg, Wouter van Atteveldt, Chantal van Son, Franz-Xaver Geiger VU University, Amsterdam This study analyses whether personalization in Dutch political newspaper coverage has increased since 1950. In spite of the assumption that personalization increased over time in The Netherlands, earlier studies on this phenomenon in the Dutch context led to a scattered image. Through automatic and manual content analyses and regression analyses this study shows that personalization did increase in The Netherlands during the last century, the changes toward that increase however, occurred earlier on than expected at first. This study also shows that the focus of reporting on politics is increasingly put on the politician as an individual, the coverage in which these politicians are mentioned however became more substantive and politically relevant. Keywords: Personalization, content analysis, political news coverage, individualization, privatization Introduction When personalization occurs a focus is put on politicians and party leaders as individuals. The context of the news coverage in which they are mentioned becomes more private as their love lives, upbringing, hobbies and characteristics of personal nature seem increasingly thoroughly discussed. An article published in 1984 in the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf forms a good example here, where a horse race betting event, which is attended by several ministers accompanied by their wives and girlfriends is carefully discussed1. Nowadays personalization is a much-discussed phenomenon in the field of political communication. It can simply be seen as: ‘a process in which the political weight of the individual actor in the political process increases 1 Ererondje (17 juli 1984).

Samira Rafaela c.s., Members of European Parliament Parlamentum Europaeum to: his excellency Charles Michel, President of the Council of the European Union Brussels, 10 March 2020 Re: Democratic deficit in the European Parliament and the necessary revision of the European Electoral Act Y our Excellency, The European Union is a beacon for democracy, freedom and the rule of law. These values have made Europe objectively one of the best places for its citizens to live and to thrive. Membership of the EU has served to inspire Member States to foster these values to the fullest. In the process, the European community has evolved into a political entity with democratic institutions to safeguard and promote the values we cherish, namely through our directly elected European Parliament, which in tum elects the European Commission. Furthermore, democratically elected governments back the members of your Council. There still are however, flaws in the democratic fabric of our ever-evolving Union. Today we urge you and your Council to address one of these flaws. A European Union that values equality between the citizens that make up our society should have institutions that reflects those values. Currently the Act concerning the election of the members of the European Parliament by direct universal suffrage is limiting citizens' representation in the European Parliament, where their Members exercise their right to maternity, paternity or parental leave during the latter stages of pregnancy or following the birth of a child. Not only are such limitations creating a democratic deficit for some European citizens but they further undermine the core European tenet of gender equality, with the majority of Members affected being pregnant and post-natal women.

It analyses the procedural details of how parties and candidates register their participation, how votes are cast, how valid votes are converted into seats, and how seats are assigned to candidates. For each Member State the paper describes the ballot structure and vote pattern used, the apportionment of seats among the Member State’s domestic parties, and the assignment of the seats of a party to its candidates. It highlights aspects that are common to all Member States and captures peculiarities that are specific to some domestic provisions. EUROPEAN UNITED LEFT • NORDIC GREEN LEFT STRASBOURG FOCUS PLENARY SESSION PRIORITIES 11-14 June 2018 Gabi Zimmer - Preparation of the European Council meeting of 28 and 29 June 2018 The Commission’s proposed seven-year budget ignores the problems of EU citizens. We call for an EU budget that strengthens economic, social and territorial cohesion. The Commission wants to spend more money on “Fortress Europe” and on economic stimulus programmes for military corporations. It wants to make cuts to the Cohesion Policy and the Social Fund from which all citizens and regions benefit. The Council must call on the Commission to end austerity and reduce the wealth gap between poor and rich regions. Member states still disagree with the reform of asylum and migration policies and still are not supporting the southern European countries. The proposed compromise of the Bulgarian Presidency does not solve the problem. Without more solidarity, without a fair redistribution of refugees, and without safe and legal access, the EU is failing to comply with its human rights obligations. Debate: Tuesday Dennis De Jong - Debate with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte Prime Minister Rutte is well known for his saying that to have a vision one needs to go to the eye doctor. But this is just a smokescreen: the vision he advocates is purely neoliberal and pri- oritises the interests of multinational companies. I hope that the European Parliament shows him the negative social effects of the policies he stands for. Debate: Wednesday Anja Hazekamp - Debate with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte When taking office last year, Rutte’s government presented itself as ‘the greenest government ever’.

  • Het Referendum Dat De Journalistiek Niet Wilde
Het referendum dat de journalistiek niet wilde Een onderzoek naar de berichtgeving over het Oekraïne-referendum Naam student: Thijn van Veghel. Studentnummer: 415778 Supervisor: Dr. Chris Aalberts Tweede lezer: Dr. Marc Verboord Master Media en Journalistiek Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication Erasmus University Rotterdam Master Thesis June 2016.
