For Our Babies BORNEO ORANGUTAN SURVIVAL FOUNDATION Help us to build a NEW HOME FOR OUR BABIES Why we need your help! The recent forest fires and haze have left many young orangutans orphaned and we have already rescued 6 infants in the last few weeks bringing our baby group to 22 orangutans. Even more are expected to arrive and our current Baby House is too small and insufficient for our needs. We desperately need to build a bigger Baby House to accommodate all of our babies and provide them with the round the clock care they need in a hygienic, suitable environment. What we want to do Our new Baby House will be a brand new facility, large enough to house all our babies and any new arrivals. We have designed outdoor forest schools and indoor play areas so that even when it is raining, our babies can continue to learn and play. We have designed two separate buildings; one for healthy babies which have completed health screening and one for incoming babies who need to be quarantined before they can join the rest of the babies. Each building is self contained with new kitchen and bathroom facilities, bedrooms for when we need one on one care with new or sick babies, and attaching outdoor sleeping enclosures for older orangutans. We are not just building a house, we are building a home in an environment where our babies have the best opportunities to learn and receive the dedicated love and care they need to be healthy, happy and confident young orangutans. But apparently there are still some problems found in the field, namely the lack of fertilizer supply, causing a shortage of stock which resulted in a surge in subsidized fertilizer HET, and still found the distribution of subsidized fertilizer that is not on target as stated in the RDKK. Some of the causes of the above problems are (a) problems in preparing RDKK, (b) differences in fertilizer prices (disparities), (c) unrealistic supplier margins (d) limited subsidized fertilizer budgets, and (e) less optimal supervision. From this phenomenon, the purpose of this study is to understand the meaning of social actions of actors in the distribution of subsidized fertilizer in Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province.

Dody Proyogo (2004) suggested that the companies were the sources of problems such as compensation problems, environmental pollutions, natural resources and local economic losses as well as labor mobilizes. The bottom line is a contradiction in the utilization of natural resources which is considered ignoring the aspirations and interests of the communities. Related to the above issue, Bennett, J (2002) mentioned that the international corporations should increase the economic inclusion and social justice or they will be accused of contributing to conflict and violence.

The inhabitants are native to the Tewoyan Dayak or also called Taboyan Dayak, Bakumpai Dayak and Maanyan Dayak, as well as migrants from other regions. As for forestry, coal mining and gold, as well as oil palm and rubber plantations, are the mainstay products from the city of Muara Teweh.1 In the city of Muara Teweh, there was once a Dutch fortress. The location was previously located at the current location of the North Barito Police Resort Mapolres. As the district capital, until around 1962 there were still no four- wheeled vehicles in this city. Land transportation within the city is usually done by using a two-wheeled bicycle as an alternative on foot. While transportation relations with other cities around it, generally by utilizing river transportation, through the Barito river. On the edge of the Barito river can also be seen floating houses in the local language called the lanting house. This study aims to determine the efficiency of education funding both from the APBN and the APBD purely in relation to increasing HDI and educational performance. The study uses influence analysis with multiple regression and descriptive quantitative research, with 3 variables, namely the large variable education funding from APBD and APBN, Education Performance and Human Development Index. The sample selection method used was purposive sampling, namely in Regencys / Cities in Central Kalimantan in the Period of 2015 - 2017. Research resulted in a relationship between education funding and HDI, Education and Performance Funds for Education and HDI and Educational Performance. Educational performance in this case is measured by teacher qualifications, teacher certification, educational ratios (Teachers: Students and Classes: Students), facilities and infrastructures physical condition, Gross Participation Rate (APK), Pure Participation Rate (APM), and Dropout Numbers.
