2 Listing Process
1. Parties can submit proposals for amendments of species listed on the Appendices. 2. The Scientific Council reviews the proposals. It’s function is to provide scientific advice to the COP. 3. Amendments shall be adopted by a 2/3 majority of Parties present and voting. 4. Modification of the Appendices shall enter into force 90 days after the meeting.

• Classification of the species • Biological data, including distribution of species, migration patterns, population… • Data that describes the direct and indirect threats to the conservation of the species. • Protection status • Comments of Range States
