Cir./21/Results&Swim-2018 03 March 2018 Dear parents/guardians A) The following will be the schedule for distribution of answer-scripts and result declaration of Annual Examination: I) SCHEDULE FOR DISTRIBUTION OF ANSWER SCRIPTS: Evaluated answer scripts will be distributed as per the following schedule and it is mandatory that your ward reports to the school to collect the same: Classes II - V : Friday, 09 March 2018 (9:00 to 11:30 a.m.) - Parents are not allowed. (Parents’ request(s) for correction will be entertained strictly from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the same day). Classes VI - VIII : Monday, 19 March 2018 (7:00 to 9:30 a.m.) - Parents are not allowed. (Parents’ request(s) for corrections if any will be entertained strictly from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the same day). Classes IX & XI : Monday, 19 March 2018 (7:00 to 9:30 a.m.) - Parents are not allowed. Classes IX & XI students are required to return the evaluated answer-scripts to their respective class teachers after getting the corrections done, if any, on the same day. In case if the parents/guardians would like to see the answer-scripts, the same will be available at the time of PTM between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Monday, 19 March 2018 with the respective class teachers. School buses will be plying on 09 & 19 March 2018 according to the timings mentioned above. II) DISTRIBUTION OF REPORT CARDS: (i) Classes Nursery - One : Tuesday, 20 March 2018 (8:00 to 9:30 a.m.) (a) School buses will be plying only to pick-up the students in the morning at the usual time. The parents are requested to pick-up their wards from the school after the Annual Result Declaration i.e. between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon. (b) Report cards of the absentees are to be collected from the respective class-teachers between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on 23 March 2018. (ii) Classes II - V : Thursday, 22 March 2018 (9:00 to 12:00 noon) a) Parents of Bus Commuters and those under supervision will not be allowed to pick-up their wards from the classrooms. b) Report cards of the absentees may be collected on the same day from the respective class teachers between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. (Authority letter is a must in case report card is to be collected by a third person other than the Parent. (iii) Classes VI - IX & XI : Friday, 23 March 2018 (7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.) The report card of the absentee students of classes VI - IX & XI can be collected by the students/parents/guardians from the respective class teachers on Monday, 26 March 2018 between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. School buses will be plying on 20 (only pick-up), 22 & 23 March 2018 according to the timings mentioned above. B) The new session (2018-19) for classes Prep. to X & XII will commence on Monday, 2 April 2018. C) UNIFORM:Class II girls are to switch over from tunics to skirts and class VI boys are to switch over from shorts to trousers. D) The list of textbooks and stationery to be procured by the parents/guardians for their ward(s) for the next academic session 2018-19 has been posted on our website www.dpsbhilai.in. The parents/ guardians are at liberty to purchase the textbooks and stationery from the shop of their choice. They must also ensure that textbooks and stationery are made available to their ward(s) right from the first day of the academic session (2018-19), so that regularity in academics is maintained. E) The Indoor Swimming Pool at Risali Sector will open for swimming (only for students) on 16 March 2018. The membership fee for the season (period 16 March to 15 September 2018) will be Rs. 4,000/- per student. a) REGISTRATION: Registration for membership will be open at the school office between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon from Tuesday, 6 March 2018 (excluding Sundays and holidays). b) POOL TIMINGS: VI – XII : 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Boys – Monday, Wednesday & Friday Nur – V : 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Girls – Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday SUNDAY WEEKLY OFF The pool timings are subject to change.     IIT BHILAI : IN PRESS 2016-2019 Foreword Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai (IIT Bhilai) became the 23rd IIT in the country and was established in the state of Chhattisgarh in 2016. Currently functioning out of a transit campus in Raipur, the permanent campus is proposed to be constructed on a 432 acre stretch of land in Kutelabhatha and Sirsa Khurd villages in the Durg district. The institute was established under the mentorship of IIT Hyderabad till the beginning of the tenure of its founding Director, Prof. Rajat Moona, in March 2017. In the three years of its existence the institute has expanded to include six departments – Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Liberal Arts. IIT Bhilai has grown significantly in terms of its academic and research profile, and this can be charted through press coverage in various local and national dailies of repute. The primary purpose of this booklet is to capture this growth. It will also serve as a repository of events that have proved significant in the shaping of the institute, for future reference. The booklet is to be released on the institute's Foundation Day, August 7, 2019, by chief guest Mr. K.K. Singh, ED (P&A), Bhilai Steel Plant and Prof. Rajat Moona, Director of IIT Bhilai.
