Director’s Note

This show was neither for me, nor about me. It was for the kids. It was for every theatre person who has been denied putting on theatre for the last year. It was for artists, and technicians, and house managers, and designers, and everyone across the country who lost their jobs in the performing arts and have no idea when or if they will be able to return. This show was to let people know that theatre will go on, theatre is important, and whether you realize it or not, theatre is needed. This was a show that I thought we might never be able to pull off, but just to prove that people are capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for - I decided to do it for these kids.
