This exhibition showcases the artistic effort and accomplishment of its member artists and concurrently visualizes the past ten years’ progress of the program. Specially this year, I am very grateful to be able to invite the seven professional artists who have enriched the exhibition culturally and aesthetically. Initiated as Art Class in 2001, JeOn Art Booth has reformed under current name since 2005, actively performing its art program and regularly hosting its member show. JeOn Art Booth is a unique art circle of sharing affection and passion for creating traditional East Asian brush painting by Korean and Thai residents in Bangkok, Thailand. As such, it has been a vibrant community for both Korean and Thai and strengthened our friendship through the common bonds in the arts. As a fellow artist and instructor of the workshop program, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to these twelve member artists on their great performance and successful achievement as practicing artists. Also I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to curator Jeong-ok Jeon for her endeavor to mount such an exciting exhibition and these seven invited artists for their participations to this special event; including Jarrett Min Davis, Khun Jitti Jumnianwai, Khun Krisaya Luenganantakul, Khun Pinnuch Pinchinda, Khun Kitikong Tilokwattanotai and Khun Boonpan Wongpakdee. It is my hope that this exhibition will also help our audiencesenhance their imagination and creativity in a memorable moment of beauty. Exhibition History of JeOn Art Booth JAB has held several exhibitions under various topics each year: Sense of Seasons (1st JeOn Art Booth Workshop Exhibition, Jamjuree Art Gallery) in 2006, Line & Color (2nd JeOn Art Booth Workshop Exhibition, Marsi Gallery) in 2007, and 10 Women’s Exhibition View 10 Corners: Mini Solo Exhibition (3rd JeOn Art Booth Worshop Exhibition, Jamjuree (Oriental Blossom in the Tropics, Rotunda Gallery, Garden Gallery & Café 2009 / Line & Color, Marsi Art Gallery) in 2008. Today they contain a substantial collection of historical artifacts and artwork including murals, porcelain, ceremonial fans gifted by Buddhist monks and 17th Century paintings. Furthermore, Thailand is another destination for tourists who keep an eye on their health by coming to relax as well as take care of their body and mind. More importantly, the health services and products of Thailand have set standards, uniformity, and use a combination of Western and Eastern science. There is also the utilisation of Thai wisdom and Thai herbs that help in the healing and caring of health, which is especially unique to Thailand. It is an object of national veneration and crowds come to pay respect. The Emerald Buddha sits on an altar of gold representing the aerial chariot of Hindu gods. This was discovered in Chiang Rai in 1464.

The department of fine arts has preserved his house, which is actually five separate buildings brought from different places and reassembled to represent how it was when he lived in his home. The beautiful teak buildings include a meeting hall where a collection of Khon masks are exhibited, a bedroom, a library and a reception room. There is also a small garden between the buildings with miniature trees known as Mai Dai, a large pond and a lawn.
