Driving Directions from the Region to Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse

From the North (WI) & Northwest (MN): – the primary entry to La Crosse from the north is U.S. Highway 53 (four-lane starts just north of Holmen). WI 157 joins US 53 as it crosses over Interstate 90. Continue on WI 157 over I-90 to WI 16 (the fourth light after crossing I-90). Turn right on WI 16 and follow for several miles along the bluffs. WI 16 becomes Losey Boulevard at La Crosse Street. Continue straight on Losey Boulevard and turn right on Market Street (third intersection past the light at Cass Street). Continue west on Market Street to West Avenue. Our campus will be on the far left corner. Cross West Avenue and enter the campus at the first driveway on your left. Visitor parking is south of the Center for Advanced Medicine and Surgery.

Minnesota/I-90 – traffic should exit I-90 at exit 276 (just before crossing the ) and head south to La Crescent following US 14-61. Turn left at the first traffic light and continue following US 14-61 through the river bottomland and across the Mississippi River. At the base of the bridge in downtown La Crosse turn right and head south on 3rd Street to Jackson Street (the next traffic light). Turn left on Jackson and proceed to 11th Street. Turn left on 11th and go north for one block. You will be on the southern end of the La Crosse Campus. Visitor parking is available in Lots 2 and 3 (on your left and right).

From the East (WI via I-90): Exit I-90 at Exit #5. Turn left at the traffic light at the bottom of the ramp. This will be Wisconsin Highway 16. Follow WI 16 past the mall and along the bluffs for several miles. WI 16 becomes Losey Boulevard at La Crosse St. Continue straight on Losey Boulevard and turn right on Market Street (third intersection past the light at Cass Street). Continue west on Market Street to West Avenue. Our campus will be on the far left corner. Cross West Avenue and enter the campus at the first driveway. Visitor parking is south of the Center for Advanced Medicine and Surgery.

From the South and Southeast (WI): Traffic from southern and southwestern Wisconsin will enter La Crosse either via US 14-61 (from Viroqua/Westby) or (Prairie du Chien). Both highways converge at the south end of La Crosse and become Mormon Coulee Road. Continue straight as Mormon Coulee becomes South Avenue at the Ward Ave intersection. There is a traffic signal at West Avenue where WI 35 bears right. Turn right onto West Avenue and follow WI 35 North. The second traffic light on West Avenue is Jackson Street. Turn left on Jackson, go one block and turn right on 11th Street. 11th Street will take you into the campus. Once you pass behind Walgreen’s there will be visitor parking available in lots on your left and right.

From the West (MN) and Southwest (IA): /I-90 – traffic should exit I-90 at exit 276 (just before crossing the Mississippi River) and head south to La Crescent following US 14-61. Turn left at the first traffic light and continue following US 14-61 through the river bottomland and across the Mississippi River. At the base of the bridge in downtown La Crosse turn right and head south on 3rd Street to Jackson Street (the next traffic light). Turn left on Jackson and proceed to 11th Street. Iowa and Southeast Minnesota – Traffic from or southern Houston County should follow MN Highway 16 or 26 into La Crescent from the south. Turn right at the first traffic light in La Crescent and ollow US 14 & 61 through the river bottomland and across the Mississippi River. At the base of the bridge in downtown La Crosse turn right and head south on 3rd Street to Jackson Street (the next traffic light). Turn left on Jackson and proceed to 11th Street. Turn left on 11th and go north for one block. You will be on the southern end of the La Crosse Campus. Visitor parking is available in Lots 2 and 3 (on your left and right).
