Tips 9 Maj: Eurovision Song Contest I Stockholm Sanja Vučić som tävlar för Serbien är en av artisterna i Euro Fan Café 2016-05-09 06:16 CEST Tips 9 maj: Eurovision Song Contest i Stockholm Idag ligger fokus i programmet på Euro Fan Café. Möt Serbiens, Lettlands och Albaniens artister och så hyllar Melodifestivalklubben de sex svenskar vinnarna. Euro Fan Café har tidigare år varit en festplats för fansen. I år öppnar Euro Fan Café också upp för stockholmare och andra besökare. Här kan man under dagen och tidig kväll äta, umgås, kolla på repetitioner från Globen och ta del av information om evenemangen. Euro Fan Café består av tre rum med olika koncept och fyra barer. Det blir ett stort loungerum i två våningar med en scen och två barer, ett mindre rum med en bar och scen samt en uteservering med en bar. Euro Fan Café är öppet 11:00-20:00 EUROVISION VILLAGE DAMMEN 12.00–15.00 Prova-på-dans och uppvisning Balettakademien, som är en av Nordens ledande dansskolor, blandar uppvisningar med prova-på-pass för dig som är nyfiken på street dance, jazzdans och dancehall. Prova-på-klasserna vänder sig till alla åldrar och inga förkunskaper krävs. Varje heltimme blir det uppvisning på scenen i Dammen och varje halvtimme prova-på-pass. 12.00–12.15: Dans för alla: Välkommen till vår uppstart av Balettakademiens programpunkter. 12.15–12.40: Dansuppvisning: Föreställning med studerande från Balettakademiens utbildningar och linjer 12.40–13.00: Prova-på: Street dance är ett samlingsnamn för flera dansstilar som uppstått på gator och i klubb-kulturer. 13.00–13.40: Dansuppvisning: Föreställning med studerande från Balettakademiens utbildningar och linjer 13.40–14.00: Prova-på: Jazzdans utgör ofta grunden till de koreografier vi ser i musikvideor och scenshower. Dansen har sitt ursprung i den afrikanska men har inslag från många olika världsdelar 14.00–14.40: Dansuppvisning: Föreställning med studerande från Balettakademiens utbildningar och linjer 14.40–15.00: Prova-på: Dancehall, en jamaikansk populärmusikform som kombinerar musik med toasting 19.00–00.00 DJ.Leo B Färgstark partystämning när Eurovision Village egen hus-DJ Leo.B bjuder på schlagerkväll vid scenen i Dammen. Här får vi träffa och lära känna en rad länder och artister. Denna gång möter vi Justs som tävlar för Lettland med låten ”Heartbeat”. 16.00–16.30 Meet and Greet: Möt ZAA Sanja Vučić Möt ZAA Sanja Vučić som tävlar för Serbien med powerballaden ”Goodbye (Shelter)”. 17.00–17.30 Meet and Greet: Möt Eneda Tarifa Möt Eneda Tarifa som tävlar för Albanien med R'n'B-låten ”Fairytale”. 17.00–20.00 DJ: FirstRANK Kvällens tema: Melodifestival night 18.30 Melodifestivalklubben hedrar de svenska ESC-vinnarna Melodifestivalklubben hedrar de artister och upphovsmän som står bakom de sex svenska bidrag som vunnit Eurovision Song Contest vid en ceremoni i Euro Fan Café.     La musica unisce l'Europa… e non solo C'è chi la definisce "La Champions League" della musica e in fondo non sbaglia. L'Eurovision è una grande festa, ma soprattutto è un concorso in cui i Paesi d'Europa si sfidano a colpi di note. Oggi più che mai una rassegna globale, che vede protagonisti nel 2016 43 paesi: 42 aderenti all'ente organizzatore più l'Australia, che dell'EBU è solo membro associato, essendo fuori dall'area (l’anno scorso fu invitata dall’EBU per festeggiare i 60 anni del concorso per via dei grandi ascolti che la rassegna fa in quel paese e che quest’anno è stata nuovamente invitata dall’organizzazione). L'ideatore della rassegna fu un italiano: Sergio Pugliese, nel 1956 direttore della RAI, che ispirandosi a Sanremo volle creare una rassegna musicale europea. La propose a Marcel Bezençon, il franco-svizzero allora direttore generale del neonato consorzio eurovisione, che mise il sigillo sull'idea: ecco così nascere un concorso di musica con lo scopo nobile di promuovere la collaborazione e l'amicizia tra i popoli europei, la ricostituzione di un continente dilaniato dalla guerra attraverso lo spettacolo e la tv. E oltre a questo, molto più prosaicamente, anche sperimentare una diretta in simultanea in più Paesi e promuovere il mezzo televisivo nel vecchio continente.

    1 THE COLLECTED POEMS OF HENRIK IBSEN Translated by John Northam 2 PREFACE With the exception of a relatively small number of pieces, Ibsen’s copious output as a poet has been little regarded, even in Norway. The English-reading public has been denied access to the whole corpus. That is regrettable, because in it can be traced interesting developments, in style, material and ideas related to the later prose works, and there are several poems, witty, moving, thought provoking, that are attractive in their own right. The earliest poems, written in Grimstad, where Ibsen worked as an assistant to the local apothecary, are what one would expect of a novice. Resignation, Doubt and Hope, Moonlight Voyage on the Sea are, as their titles suggest, exercises in the conventional, introverted melancholy of the unrecognised young poet. Moonlight Mood, To the Star express a yearning for the typically ethereal, unattainable beloved. In The Giant Oak and To Hungary Ibsen exhorts Norway and Hungary to resist the actual and immediate threat of Prussian aggression, but does so in the entirely conventional imagery of the heroic Viking past. From early on, however, signs begin to appear of a more personal and immediate engagement with real life. There is, for instance, a telling juxtaposition of two poems, each of them inspired by a female visitation. It is Over is undeviatingly an exercise in romantic glamour: the poet, wandering by moonlight mid the ruins of a great palace, is visited by the wraith of the noble lady once its occupant; whereupon the ruins are restored to their old splendour.

I begin with an analysis of the kobzars—a group of blind, itinerant minstrels who performed across Ukraine in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, before they disappeared entirely during Stalin’s Great Terror in the 1930s. First, I explore the ways in which the Ukrainian bandura, an asymmetrical lute instrument, has become a site for documenting epistemologies of blind musicians in Ukraine. I then examine how these ways of knowing blindness have been influenced by myths of blind musicians in Ukraine that seek to demystify these internal “others.” Furthermore, I discuss how these myths continue to influence 21st century depictions of blind minstrels through an analysis of the 2014 Ukrainian film, The Guide. Finally, I turn my focus to the Eurovision Song Contest in order to examine how narratives of internal others are deployed in order to negotiate Ukraine’s position in 21st century Europe and in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. I then reflect on the ways in which deploying these narratives of internal others does not draw these groups into the mainstream, but instead emphasizes and exploits their difference for the purpose of rejecting external hegemony in Ukraine.
