Gentlemen,-On Thursday morning last, the 11th inst., about 6-20 a.m., 11. fire broke out in our mixing-room, and although the pressure in the Corporation mains was abnormally low in consequence of alterations in progress, we are pleased to say that your Sprinklers opened and acted at once with the pressure from the tank, and practically subdued the fire without any further assistance. The fire also broke out in the scutching-room below, but was immediately extinguished by the action of one Sprinkler.
