Examine the historical development procedures of the English criminal justice system and its relationship to the U.S. criminal justice system. Visits to historical sites including Parliament, Inns of Court, , and the of , and on-site lectures by experienced police, court and prison personnel give a thorough and valuable insight into the English justice system and security procedures. New to the course is an overnight excursion to , Scotland via train to visit various Scottish criminal justice and historical sites.
