1 A Comprehensive Interpretation of Philadelphia What is the character of Philadelphia? While religious organizations believe they personify the Philadelphia Assembly, it is proven performance that really counts. Philadelphia-type people have the zeal to repent, to change, to conform to Bible teachings and implement the Kingdom way of life. They are zealous to repent, to change, and to be converted, so that they can conform to Yahweh’s way of life. If we love Yahweh as He loved us, if we love the Messiah as He has loved us, if we love those who are in the Faith as we should, then we can 1 personify the Philadelphia attitude and spirit. 14 How to Study the Bible One of the most positive ways of proving the veracity of the Scriptures is by showing fulfillment of Bible prophecy. A harmony of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation will be achieved by diligent Bible study. Constant reading of the Scriptures is a vital step to understanding the Scriptures and to sound Bible study. “Every Scripture Yahweh-breathed is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness: that the man of Yahweh may be complete, furnished completely to every good work,” 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

Laodicea, however, is lukewarm, worldly, not having in their hearts the driving passion to obey Yahweh. Laodicea does not eagerly accept and try to obey the Word of Yahweh as the final authority in their daily lives. While the Philadelphia Assembly receives a commendation from Yahshua the Messiah, Laodicea receives a call to repentance, “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent,” Revelation 3:19.
