Larry Petryk – PGA Golf Professional Personal Born and raised in the small town of Smoky Lake, Alberta. History Began playing golf at the age of 13. Smoky Lake Golf Club: Board of directors at the age of 16. Helped develop the golf course and it's transition from sand to grass greens. Winner of numerous club championships. Graduated High School: H. A. Kostash (Smoky Lake) Professional Memberships 2014 - Present PGA of Canada Member 2006 – 2014 Member of The Macau Professional Golfer’s Association 2007 - 2011 Chief Operating Officer MPGA: Organized and hosted events such as Pro-Ams, Corporate Golf Clinics and Seminars, Junior Golf Events, and General MPGA Assembly meetings. Professional 16+ Years of Instructing & Coaching: Teaching Taught golf in Canada, the US, and overseas in China to juniors, ladies, & men (beginners, intermediate amateurs, elite amateurs, & professionals). Winner - Fort Saskatchewan Pro-Am. 2008 – 2012 Competed in the Macau Open, Asian Tour against players such as Ernie Els, etc. 1999 & 2000 PGA Tour of Canada Member. One win and one 2nd place finish on the Pepsi Tour of California. Twice final stage qualifying Canadian Open. Both occasions missed by 1 stroke! 1994 Turned professional. Amateur Golfing Career +4 handicap, 2 years of NCAA Division 1 at the University of San Diego. 1994 3rd, NCAA Div 1 West Coast Conference Championship, Selected to All-Conference Team. Received M. V. P. Award - University of San Diego golf team, senior year. 2nd, Las Vegas City Amateur Championship. 1993 1st, Canadian Club Champions National Championship. 1990 1st, Edmonton City Amateur Championship. 1987 2nd, Edmonton City Junior Championship.
