Orton completed 37‐of‐57 passes (64.9%) for a career‐high 476 yards with one touchdown and one interception (89.5 rtg.) against Indianapolis and has now also posted the second‐most passing yards through the team’s first three regular‐season games in franchise history and the fifth‐most in NFL history (since 1960) during a club’s first three games. Orton, who came into the game with an NFL‐high eight completions of 25+ yards, completed five more passes against Indianapolis to raise his season total to 13. The accomplishment marked the 22nd time in franchise history two players recorded at least 100 receiving yards in a game. Lloyd’s receiving yardage total (169) was the highest of his career and marked his fifth 100‐yard receiving game. Gaffney’s 140 receiving yards were the second most he has recorded in a game during his career. Gaffney now owns six career 100‐yard receiving games (4 regular season, 2 postseason).
