Jim Reed enters his 13th season as the head coach of the Susquehanna women’s basketball team in 2017-18.

After posting a 14-11 record in 2016- 17, his overall record at Susquehanna is 156-130 (.545 ). Combined with his 27 wins as head coach at Wilkes, he has accumulated 183 career victories.

Reed was named the head women’s basketball and head women’s golf coach at Susquehanna in August 2005 after serving as the head women’s basketball coach at Wilkes University from 2001-2005. He guided the Susquehanna women’s golf team until 2012.

Reed is no stranger to Susquehanna, having served as an assistant women’s basketball coach under Mark Hribar for three seasons (1989-1992) and as a men’s basketball assistant under Frank Marcinek for two seasons (1992-1994).
