The presence of genotype by environment interaction plays a crucial role in determining theperformance of genetic materials, tested at different locations and in different years. This study was undertaken toassess yield performance, stability and adaptability of twelve durum wheat genotypes evaluated over five environments. There was highly significant genotype-environment interaction. The use of the additive model as well as the joint regression proved to be inefficient in the interpretation of results compared to AMMI analysis of variance which explained90.80% of the sum of square of the interaction. This analysis indicated that cultivar Waha exhibited a wide adaptation across all test-sites, while the GGE biplot analysis indicated that the five test-locations represented 3sub-regions where Mrb3, Boussalem and Badre were the winners. Selection for specific adaptation allowed 10.51% genetic gain over selection for large adaptation. Grain yield stability was approached using the genotypic superiority index, the across locations variance, the AMMI stability variance and the genotypes rank on both mean and stability, using the GGE biplot analysis. Rank correlation coefficients among stability parameters indicated their dissimilar.     THE MINI-COLUMBARIUM IN CARTHAGE’S YASMINA CEMETERY by CAITLIN CHIEN CLERKIN (Under the Direction of N. J. Norman) ABSTRACT The Mini-Columbarium in Carthage’s Roman-era Yasmina cemetery combines regional construction methods with a Roman architectural form to express the privileged status of its wealthy interred; this combination deploys monumental architectural language on a small scale. This late second or early third century C.E. tomb uses the very North African method of vaulting tubes, in development in this period, for an aggrandizing vaulted ceiling in a collective tomb type derived from the environs of Rome, the columbarium. The use of the columbarium type signals its patrons’ engagement with Roman mortuary trends—and so, with culture of the center of imperial power— to a viewer and imparts a sense of group membership to both interred and visitor. The type also, characteristically, provides an interior space for funerary ritual and commemoration, which both sets the Mini-Columbarium apart at Yasmina and facilitates normative Roman North African funerary ritual practice, albeit in a communal context. Continuando verso Cherchell troviamo il sito di Caesarea costruito durante il regno di Juba II. Visite del museo Archeologico e dei suoi mosaici. Pranzo. Visita di Tipaza, sito romano, che durante il 1° secolo prima di Cristo divenne una città d’arte e cuore della civiltà greco-romana nell’Africa del Nord. (dichiarata patrimonio mondiale dall’UNESCO). Trasferimento a Sétif. Cena in ristorante e pernottamento in hotel.. 3° GIORNO: SETIF (Setifis) – COSTANTINE Raggiungiamo al mattino il sito romano di Djemila, " la bella in Arabo." Visita del sito archeologico, la città fu fondata durante il regno dell’'Imperatore Nerva (96-98 d.c.). Le sue fantastiche rovine romane sono in ottime condizioni di conservazione e sono state classificate patrimonio mondiale dell'Unesco nel 1981. Djemila è cotruita in una zona molto ostile ed è una delle più importanti città romane della fine del II secolo dopo Cristo. Pranzo. Tour panoramico di Sétif. Raggiungiamo la sera Costantine. Cena in ristorante e pernottamento in hotel. 4° GIORNO: COSTANTINE – BATNA Visita della città di Costantine città universitaria e famosa per i suoi ponti. Tali dinamiche saranno analizzate alla luce della distribuzione dei prodotti delle due regioni che, registrabili archeologicamente, ebbero il maggior successo commerciale, cioè la terra sigillata aretina e pisana per quanto riguarda l’Etruria e le anfore Dressel 30 mauretane.
