About 90 junior golfers from 13 nations participated. We thank the Singapore Golf Association for the opportunity to organise this tournament that cannot be more familiar to the Club, and look forward to making it a success again in 2020 and 2021. Early-July witnessed the success of yet another Club event – the 49th Annual Swimming Gala, which offered 56 events for about 70 participants. Among the highlights was the family relay, which brought different generations together in a united bid to claim the medals. We thank all participants, parents and grandparents for their support, without which the annual swim meet would not be possible. On the social front, exciting new activities beckon, including a visit to a local kiln factory where members can learn to make pottery (think the movie Ghost and its soundtrack Unchained Melody) and a farm tour to Johor. Check them out and sign up early before the slots run out!
