Spiritual Defence Against Global Covid-19 Infection

1. Save yourself and the Nation by individual and collective austerity. Do not stand helpless before the global virus. Reinforce yourself and the Nation confidently. Here is the time-tested means, infallible for the discreet and faithful. 2. Laws enforced are effective only after the crime is done. But how to prevent crime or lessen its incidence and toll, for which material efforts are powerless? Try then at least the inner, mental, spiritual power and derive redress. 3. Body is a matter energy aggregate, inert. It is animated and activated by the mind. Mind, though not a part of the body, is associated with it. It has untold power over matter, like causing physical anger and also appeasing and eliminating it. 4. Use the mind’s power to resist the virus. Mind works on thoughts. All mantras are mental formulae, to be applied discreetly and tenaciously. 5. Recite mantra, to insulate you against all destruction.

6. “We appease Tryambaka, the Supreme Lord of Destruction. Liberate us from the bondage of disease and death, like the stem getting detached from the melon when the fruit has grown to the full. Relieve us from the clutches of death, destruction, and not from immortality.“ 7. Start with 108 times the mantra japa. Chant slowly, gently and attentively. 8. Increase it by 25 counts, reaching 500 and 1000 mark in a week or so.

9. You may also perform havan with the mantra, but add swaahaa, at the end, just before offering the material to blazing fire. 10. Family members can chant together, if they so desire. 11. Mind can act on matter. Remember how Dasaratha gained four sons, by performing Ashwamedha Yaga. 12. The Chant is a real defence against any offence, visible or invisible. It delves within oneself, one’s body, generates inner spiritual resources to contend and be freed from all kinds of distresses, like disease, conflicts, confrontations, lacks and deficiencies. 13. Ultimately, life is experiential, and all experiences are centred within our body, in the mind, a functional note of Consciousness. Your mind cognizes the body, and then alone you say you have the body. So too is the world mind’s comprehension alone! 14. This mind is what reflects and feels the world of panchabhootas. No experience or perception is outer, gross. Everything is an expression and extension from and of the mind. Seek the mind’s own deeper resources to resolve the distress, and feel safe and secure. 15. We have a right and scope to seek and eke out a remedy for the malady that confronts us. If external redress is not available, then at least we can and should seek the inner redress. Knock and the door will be open. Call, and you will be heard. Be sure.

With fond benedictions.
